I'm sure the light itself is fine hence the 5 stars, however Amazon's "confirmed fit" does not actually work in my case. This was supposed to fit a 2009 Pontiac Vibe and it did not.

I have a 2006 4Runner with the original headlight assembly, and I think the original headlight bulbs. Over time, the lenses have started to get cloudy, but I can still see well enough to drive at night, though I don't do much of that anymore as my eyes seem to be getting cloudy with age as well. I was forced to upgrade the bulbs recently, when one of the high beams went out. I took the advice from Sylvania, as listed on the Amazon page, which said if one is going out, the others are probably not far behind. Per their recommendation, I bought two sets of the H-11 XtraVision bulbs, as it said somewhere in the product description the bulbs would fit in both the high and low beams and the fog lights. Nope. They fit perfectly into the low-beam connectors, but would not go into the highs. Thankfully, I had tried to do one side at a time, so I only opened one package. I put the other H11 in the other side low-beam socket, then got online to find out what was going on. Through some forums, I learned the high-beam replacement bulb is the XtraVision 9005 - this product. So I ordered the 9005s, put in a return request for the H11s, made an extra trip to the UPS Store to drop them off, and waited for the 9005s. After a delay due to the sighting of a snowflake somewhere in the Lone Star State - though not fell to my knowledge in the San Antonio area - I finally received them yesterday. Within 15 minunes, they were in place and exceedingly bright. I haven't tried them out in the actual dark yet, but have an early 0720 showtime for a new TriCare doc. Will have to leave by around 0615 to go less than 20 miles with morning traffic. I guess what they say about Texas is true - everything is bigger, especially the traffic jams.

Needed replacement for a 2006 Chevy Uplander Van and these bulbs were the perfect fit. On this model the bulbs are fairly easy to change as you can take out the entire headlight assembly and swap the bulb. They are a perfect match and work just as I expected.

These are crap. Lasted just over 2 months, maybe 3,000 kms of driving. The car they were installed in uses the high beams as the daytime running lights. So these, as a low beam head light are only used at night and this car is rarely driven at night. Total lack of quality from a brand I used to trust.

Great value bulbs compared to the Silverstars made by the same company. These are bulbs which balance brightness and longevity. One can expect about a year of use before a noticeable change in brightness, compared to the Silverstars which are known to last only a few months.
