My wife went into labor a year and a half ago and that labor went very quickly....so quickly that she ended up giving birth on our bed in the presence of EMTs. We then went to the hospital where I stayed overnight with my wife and new baby girl. The next day, once things had clamed down, I went home to clean up before they came home. For those who have witnessed or gone through child birth, you know what a mess I arrived to. For those who haven't, suffice to say there are many different types of fluids and a lot of them. Let's just say I was fully expecting to be purchasing a new mattress. To my amazement, once I'd bagged our sheets and this mattress pad, our mattress was perfectly fine. I bought another one immediately and will continue to use this brand as long as it exists. I challenge anyone to put it through a more rigorous test and I'm positive it can stand up to some sweat or your child's pee in the middle of the night. I could have posted a pic but it's better for everyone if I don't.

I have now purchased this mattress protector 5 times. I tried one for my own bed and loved it so much, I bought one for the spare bedroom and one for my son's bed. Pros: 1. It's super comfortable under the sheets, you don't even know it's there 2. It doesn't change the temperature of the bed at all which is nice 3. It fits my queen size bed perfectly and never pulls up on the corners because the side pieces are deep enough to wrap all the way under the mattress 4. It's super protective, we've had blood spills on the bed as well as drink spills and none have ever made it through the protector to the mattress (my mattress still looks brand new) 5. It washes really well. It holds up well in my washer and dryer. The only reason I've had to replace one was due to a blood stain I couldn't remove and I was afraid to bleach the protector and ruin it's effectiveness. Cons: NONE. Not a single one.

We bought this mattress protector after finally spending money on a nice, new, memory foam mattress. Our daughter still sleeps with us so we didnβt want a bathroom accident ruining our new bed. While it hasnβt gone through that test yet, it has already saved our mattress from other stains. It is comfortable to sleep on. You donβt even know that it is under the sheet. It is easier to apply than the fitted sheet itself. We have had no issues with it coming up on the corners. It makes no noise when you move around. It was easy to clean in the washer and dryer. I would definitely recommend drying the item by itself. It was quite wet when we pulled it out of the washer after washing with other items. When I tried to dry it with the same items it was still quite wet. Once I put it in by itself, it dried quickly. It might depend on the stain, but it also came completely clean. I have never used a mattress protector in the past but I would buy this again.

The material is soft, lightweight, and completely free from that strong chemical smell that a lot of protectors have β it was ready to use right out of the package. It fits snugly over the mattress without shifting around and doesnβt make any noisy crinkling sounds when you move, which makes it feel much more natural and comfortable. Thereβs no added padding with this protector, so it wonβt change the feel of your mattress or provide any extra cushioning or pain relief β itβs purely for protection. I havenβt had a situation yet where I needed to test the waterproof feature, but the quality and construction make me feel confident it will work when needed. For the price, the value is excellent. This is my second purchase, to give as a gift to someone I know who has an adult, special needs child who has occasional nighttime accidents. Why do I feel so confident to give it as a gift? Because, recently, I was eating in bed and spilled a very dark sauce on my sheets. Judging by how soaked-through my sheets were with the sauce, I assumed the sauce had to have soaked through the mattress pad and onto the mattress. NOT AT ALL. The rest of the sauce was all absorbed in the top layer of the mattress pad! In other words, NONE of the sauce got onto my mattress! I washed the mattress pad just with regular detergent - I didn't pre-treat nor use any stain removers - and the stain came out completely in the wash! My only complaint is that it is a little crinkly (but not too crinkly) and it's not as breathable as other mattress pads. So, if you're a VERY hot sleeper, you might not want this.

This is a great topper to protect our mattress as we have a senior dog who sometimes "leaks" urine in her sleep. Some customers mentioned an odor when they opened up the packaging but to me that was not strong enough to be bothered and it was gone after the initial wash! The fitted corners are generous and the quilted top is nice too. The waterproof layer is just below that and I feel confident that this will protect our queen mattress. We als got dog diapers for our girl and find she's dry all night now too, so a bonus!!

Just installed it on my queen size mattress this morning, my old mattress fed was 30 years old and the elastic around the edges was starting to rip. Initial impression is itβs gonna be a decent mattress cover. I donβt know if Iβll ever use the waterproof thing, but you never know when a bad urge from a virus is gonna strike in the middle of the night. The edge material is a real silky stuff. Thatβs hard to get a hold of, but once you get it over the end of the mattress, it seems like a great fit. plenty of elastic so I donβt think itβs gonna move around. If it lasts just half as long as my last one, Iβll be more than pleased.

I had initially bought a (not so cheap) mattress cover at Ikea for my 3-year-oldβs new bed, it was useless to say the least and ruined his brand new mattress. After doing lots of research so as to not waste my money again I decided on this mattress protector and am I ever glad I did. It is super soft and comfortable, easy to clean, and most importantly VERY reliable. One night we accidentally forgot to put a diaper on him and despite him usually waking up with a completely soaked diaper not a single drop went through the mattress protector.
