Context: I've had this monitor for roughly 2 months and had used it for probably over 100hrs already. Pros: Amazing colors, Deep inky Blacks, HDR looks amazing, No Ghosting, Best response times you can get on a gaming monitor, sharp and clear text, warranty is good but average for OLED monitors, and price is lower than most OLED monitors at this price point, the anti-gloss coating doesn't seem to affect colors without any noticeable grain and does a good job at blocking any glare from light sources. Cons: Settings menu is slightly outdated but not bad, bezel are bigger than cheaper monitors, cost more than a Xbox Series X. Comparing all the pros against the cons I can confidently say this monitor is easily 5 stars. Most cons are just nitpicks (besides the price.) If you want to get some of the best monitors you can get while saving some money. I feel like this monitor doesn't get enough love from the tech community as much as ASUS and LG OLEDS. Samsung really hit a home run with this monitor.

This monitor is absolutly perfect for my use case; it's a perfect blend of both Esports level raw performance and stunning visual quality. As of writing this review, this OLED panel is crowned as the very best in terms of color accuracy in a consumer product, and I have to say I can see why. This monitor looks like a litteral window into my game of Sea of Thieves. Packaging was great, the included monitor stand is super nice (solid, full metal, tooless), the RGB array on the back is super sick. A lot of people are complaining about manufacture defects (just get a replacement) or problems with the HDMI 2.1 connection, and I think if you're gaming, you should 100% be using DP anyway. If you're worried as to whether this is a good monitor or not...it is, just buy it.

Initial thoughts: WOW! I am genuinely thrilled about this recent purchase right from the beginning. It is such a remarkable upgrade from my previous 1080 monitor, which served me well, but I can already tell that the transition to an OLED display is a game-changer. The improved clarity and vibrant colors are absolutely stunning, and I cannot wait to fully experience everything this new monitor has to offer. It's an exciting step forward in my viewing experience!

Let me start by saying I am a Samsung fanboy with more samsung products in my house than I care to admit. I already have one of the original 49 inch odessey monitors but wanted to look at QD Oled as a new option for gaming. After just two days of trying to get this panel to be a good PC monitor, I have decided to return it and go with a competitor who is also using this QD OLED panel but just not trying to be a TV at the same time. PROS - Quality design. Nice to see them providing what I believe to be a very nice design that is not your typical gaudy gaming design by other manufacturers. This looks good on a gaming desk or a work desk. Very thin, small footprint stand - WHEN IT WORKED, the screen looked incredible. HDR in gaming is incredible, video content that is HDR looks STUNNING. - If you have a Samsung TV now you will be very familiar with the menu structure and settings as they are pretty much the same. CONS - Screen would often turn on with pixelation as shown in one of my images. The images with the black screen is also when the monitor is on but would not pick up a reception from my computer. - Screen kept kicking me out of PC mode and sending me back to the TV channel list where I spent more time watching the fireplace channel than working in my PC - In an effor to put TV features in your face, they drop the ball on doing either very well and it's frustrating - EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU GO INTO PC MODE, you must endure the panel displaying its ridiculus gamer bar, plus gamer bar 'how to' then volume menu and occasionally the system would shut down. WHO AT SAMSUNG THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD UX. - It is leaning too heavily into the TV side of the feature set, so much so that the panel will not pass through the mouse and keyboard functions through its USB ports when you reboot your PC and need to get into your bios. None of the settings available to me would allow to configure for USB passthrough. I am willing to acknowledge there might have been something I did not setup correctly, but Samsung is not making it easy for me to find if it does exist. NUETRAL - The panel often wants to run a 'recalibration' after you turn it on which takes 10 minutes or so - No burn in warranty. I can't call this a negative as I knew this before I purchased, but the more I looked into it, the compitition is using this same Samsung panel in their monitors and offering burn in as part of thier warranty and I find it odd that Samsung does not do the same. UPDATED - Be mindful of the return process and attempting so use the the QR code method. I found out many of the UPS locations are not equipped with the hardware to handle this so you must take items to a UPS store specifically. So rathe than a 15 minute trip to my local shop that supports UPS I had an hour trip to my closes UPS full store. - Refund process takes longer than expected as 8 days after confirmation they have recieved the item still nothing has processed. The few time I have returned an item I have not had this long of a processing time.

OLED is EXPENSIVE. The price runs 2x to 3x the cost of other screen alternatives. I dithered about spending all that extra money for two years. But finally it was Christmas, with my birthday following behind, and I finally decided to pull the trigger. Plus the Samsung was a bit cheaper than other makes. I am so glad I did. The first surprise was how easy it was to set up as a second screen to my Asus laptop. It was literally plug and play, whereas I had expected all those usual electronic device hassles. The second surprise was how much easier it was to read text on screen, how much clearer and sharper everything seemed. I had to swallow hard to spend the money, but I couldn't be happier. It has been several months and everything is working exactly as it should, just better than expected. Five stars.

the colors of the oled is great the 1440p quality top i think this is better than the asus vareint because of the 360 hz boost i had an lg moniter that was 240hz in 1080p put now i cant even come near that moniter it hurt my eyes lol the matte coding is great

I recently upgraded my gaming setup with the SAMSUNG 27-Inch Odyssey G6 (G60SD) Series OLED Gaming Monitor, and overall, it's been a fantastic addition. I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars for its stellar performance with just a couple of minor drawbacks.
