This does read as roughly 256gb for storage space. The Sandisk program install files are in the drive already so no need to download anything. I haven't used the software, but was able to move a variety of different media to and from the drive with zero issues. Two things to consider: 1) When I tried running multiple files to the drive, I could only get a max write speed of 28MB/s, which is a far cry from the 400MB/s. Still plenty fast for what I'm doing, and I'm going to try on a couple of other devices to see if it was maybe something on my system (I should be able to hit that with the hardware I'm using). The other thing is that at least when I've plugged into two devices the drive can get pretty hot. Not untouchable hot, but definitely warmer than what usual USB drive. The device itself is certainly smaller and may not use as much material so the heat may just be a lot more noticeable.

I don't even remember the last time I bought a flash drive but decided to pick one up to back up important items and keep them on me in a physical state vs the cloud. Its a USB-C connection which is nice since most of my devices are USB-C now anyways. This does help with the speed of transfer and I was able to back up large amounts of data rather quickly. The 256GB size also allows for massive quantities of data as well. A HUGE step up from my 32GB flash drives from yesteryear. Build quality is ok, its rather cheapy plastic but to be honest, you don't need these to have heft nor weight to it anyways. The USB-C connector slides in and out of the housing. Not the biggest fan of this feature as its one more thing that could break in the future from prolonged use. The color of the flash drive was an interesting choice as well. The gradient is rather meh. Who are they gearing this drive for anyways? You're just backing up data, why do I need it "personalized" or "fun"? Anyways, its a flash drive, and it works.

I used this for a recent sporting event as my secondary slot card and it performed just as expected. I had no issues with compatibility in my Nikon Z6 III. I am not sure I like the light blue color scheme. It doesn't exactly scream professional to me. That doesn't really matter though. My only wish would be larger capacity cards. Overall, this is a reliable, good performing card from a reputable vendor.

If you are thinking that this drive will function like a normal jump drive with a lightning connector on it you are mistaken, it only will back up your photos/videos/contacts that are in the IOS native folders and can only be used by the SanDisk app. It does not work with the BlackMagic app or Final Cut Camera. So it is useless.

Funcionamiento excelente Estado impecable. Color muy elegante, nada que ver con el color azul celeste chillón que se ve en la publicidad. Me alegro porque es mucho más bonito y discreto a la vez. En mis pruebas de lectura escritura, como suele ser habitual, los valores que indica el fabricante son algo optimistas. A pesar de todo supera los 1000 mgps en escritura. Y casi se mantiene en los 1000 en lectura. El más rápido de este tipo de los que utilizo en mi estudio. Muy satisfecho con la compra. Prueba realizada con Blackmagic speed test.
