I used this after reseeding my lawn in early spring. It was easy to apply, and within two weeks, I saw new grass growing in nicely. It also kept the weeds out, which was a big plus. My lawn looks thicker and greener than before. Very happy with the results—will use again next season.

First picture is day one (11-1-2024) when I planted grass seeds and put down the fertilizer built for seeds. All dirt, no growth as you can see. Second picture is about 5-6 days later. The grass is starting to sprout. Third picture is today (11-9-24) only 8 days after planting the seeds and the grass is growing very well. I would say 80% of the growth is from the fertilizer. Another 10% of growth is from putting seed cover (top soil) on top of the seeds to: 1. keep the birds from eating the seeds; 2. helps the seeds grow a little faster; 3. helps the soil maintain moisture. The last 10% of growth is from watering the grass (3) times per day. The seeds need to be maintained in moisture for as long as possible so they can sprout. I planted the same seeds in my front yard, but I didn't use the fertilizer made for seeds, and I think it took a while longer to grow. I will definitely buy more of the Scotts triple action built for seeds fertilizer whenever I need to start another grass project from scratch. I'm very happy with the results. One thing: don't put down too much fertilizer or it will burn the grass. I went back and put down more fertilizer where I thought it needed more, and in those spots the grass is turning white instead of green. It's still growing, but not as fast as in the other areas. Great product!!!

This seed has been sitting on the freshly tilled ground for a month and not one seed has sprouted. We tilled and added compost and lightly covered the seeds. Nighttime temps are around 45-50 and daytime temps are around 50-70. No reason this shouldn't have sprouted. No option for a refund as they keep saying to return the defective item. Sure, I will go scoop it all up and bag it and return it?
