Weaver is such a consistent writer throughout this series, it's refreshing. Like the other books in the series, it’s hilarious, macabre, the banter is great, and you can’t help but fall in love with another Kane brother.

What to expect:
🦝 touch her & ☠️
🎪 Forbidden love

This much anticipated 3rd & final book in this trilogy did not disappoint. Brynne brought all the elements that we’ve known & loved in these books - murder, witty banter, incredible spice, edge-of- your- seat suspense & lovable characters. I’m sad the ride is over, but the best part about these books for me? Rereading them.

Rose and Fionn, I've been waiting for your story for a while now, and I am not disappointed.
Rose surprised me as a character. I thought from B&B, she would be more of a wild card. She was a bit unhinged but level-headed, besides those urges of vengeance. She is a beautiful character of change and prosperity. She was dealt with a bad card but took on life with a smile and her heart on her sleeve.
Fionn also surprised me; I thought from the other two books he'd be an uptight MMC. He was also carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. He cares deeply for others, as it is in his doctor's nature.
The way Rose and Fionn make each other whole is written beautifully. You feel for them and also want them to drop those walls and see what's in front of them.
I felt the emotions of this story. Understanding the plot and the why, I still wanted more for their relationship. Straight from professional to low sexual tension to friends with benefits. The serial killing aspect was low in comparison to the other books; I felt this could have been explained better than it being quickly resolved with not much more to go based on until the final kill.
S&S is an amazing ending to the trilogy. I loved how different each book is; B&B was more humorous, L&L more of a push and pull, and S&S more emotional. I will forever recommend this trilogy and Brynne Weaver.

Samantha and Eric, once again did an outstanding job!!! The natarrators brought the characters to life!!! Scythe and Sparrow was everything and more!!! Brynne Weaver you wrote the most amazing triliogy. One of the best dark rom com!!! A well deserved standing ovation!!! It was so easy to fall in love with the Kane Brothers, but Fionn holds a special place in my heart. I knew Rose was going to be bad ass. Her and Fionn just made sense together. I love the way they healed each other. Rose coming from a not so happy background, but she is definitely that ride or die friend. She is spontaneous, the right enough crazy, down for anything type of girl.
She is tough but has the biggest heart. Knowing the Kane brothers having a rough upbringing, Fionn has been running from anything that will bring him love. Between the secets he kept, his guilt, and how deeply he was hurt, he created this stereo type life that kept his real self caged. It took a girl like Rose to make him realize that someone could love all of him and accept his darkness. To help him accept his true self. I laughed and cried so much with this one. The way Brynne wrote this story, the words, you felt all the emotions that the characters were experiencing. It was like she placed you in the story. You could feel Fionn's need to protect Rose, both their heartaches. their wants and needs. I loved every moment.
The bond between the brothers was written so well. I couldn't help but cry in those moments when the brothers would show their vulnerability for each other and for the women they love and protect.
The cotton candy scene and the sex swing 🥵 bravo Brynne lol I loved it!!! Barbara she my spirit animal!!! Her and the good doctor has a love/hate relationship that had me cracking up, especially that whole raccoon to the face scene. How can I not mention The Suture Sisters. They are who I want to be when I grow up! That conversation about the sex swing had me rolling in laughter.
I can't say enough about the final book in the Runious Love Triliogy. Brynne thank you!!! The epilougues and bonus chapter had me laughing so damn loud, crying ugly tears and just all up in my feelings. Now I need a dragon onesie 🤣 I am hoping for a new series from what that epilougue was about, hopefully we can get a glimpse or two of our favorite couple trio, maybe on the annual August showdown or maybe a series of our favorite bad ass Runious Love women and friend.
Brynne your story deserves more than 5 ⭐️ and the way you write a spicy scene OMG!!! 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 ++++ Thank you once again and I love the fact Rose was from Odessa, Tx!!! My hometown!!! Chef kiss 💋 Runious Love Trilogy will always be one of my top favorites🖤🖤🖤

This book had me kicking and giggling like a teenager in love.
First off, a massive THANK YOU to Brynne Weaver for blessing us with Dr. Fionn "McSpicy" Kane 😮💨… truly, what a gift.
Scythe and Sparrow was everything I wanted and more—murderous, spicy, romantic, and downright hilarious. It wrapped up the trilogy perfectly, bringing all the chaos, heart, and sharp wit that made this series so addictive.
One of my favorite things was how, just like Leather and Lark, this book seamlessly wove its timeline alongside Butcher and Blackbird. The moments where we first met Rose and Fionn in the first book? We get to relive them here—but this time, from their perspectives, deepening their story and showing how it all overlapped with Leather and Lark. It was brilliantly done.
And Fionn? He might just be my favorite Kane brother (but let’s be real, I love them all in different ways). His story, his history, and how Rose fits into the picture—it all came together so satisfyingly.
The ending? Chef’s kiss. It tied all three books together in such a rewarding way, but I highly suspect Brynne has something else brewing for us. No spoilers, but… you’ll know what I mean when you read it.
I adored every second of this book, from the final threads of the Kane brothers' history to the enigmatic Fionn finally getting his moment.
If you loved the first two books, this one is an absolute must-read.

I don't even know how to begin this review. I've been a fan of this series since the first book, and we encounter a bump in the road on the second book, because it was kind of disappointing, and I didn't wanna keep my hopes up because of that, but I stand corrected. This book was everything!! Fionn and Rose were beautiful. I loved their love story. I loved Fionn so fecking much!!! He's sweet and caring, and Rose is indeed a banshee. I laughed and cried and felt everything. Brynne Weaver ended this series with a bang, and it's so hard to believe we will no longer have more books about them because I love these characters so much.

I knew i would love this book but i could have never prepared myself for how much
I was unsure how weaver would tell Fionn & Rose's story with just how things left off in L&L.
The way she overlapped this book with the previous two was pure perfection. We got their story but I also got to see another side to the big events of the first two books where i was wondering "what is fionn doing while this happens".
The epilogue was the perfect way to round out this series

Feeling a bit conflicted on this one, I think the timeline and pacing of this book threw me a little. I assumed this would mostly pick up where Leather and Lark left off but the majority of this took place at the same time as the previous 2 books. So although I loved seeing the start and development of their relationship, it also felt a bit like it was just filling the gaps from their perspective of the previous books. I really liked Fionn and Rose, but that a lot of that was from what we saw of them in previous books. I found the cause of heartbreak near the end quite frustrating and that there was that separation and lack of time with the characters but overall I did like them as a couple and the series as a whole.
