I wanted a light weight headset and wow does this qualify! People I game with say that my voice sounds great! I do miss the mute button and volume control that were in the right ear of my old headset - guess I had to give that up for it to be as light as it is. On this one the volume and mute switch are half way down the cord on the right hand side.

They are lightweight and convenient to carry. On the other hand, they do not feel like they fit well in the ear because of their lightness when placed on the head. Also, the parts will break easily if not handled with care. The sound quality seems to be good, as all people rave about the sound coming from this headset. Perhaps it is not only the voice transmission, but also the excellent noise cancellation function. I have been using them for seminars for more than three years now, and they are still working fine as long as I take care of them.

Click to play video Pros: -Sound quality is good to me. Justifies the price. Not awesome bass, but very balanced overall. -The mic provides a crisp nice sound -Nice flexible headband -Very light Medium: -The volume control is through a wheel, not through buttons -It controls an internal volume, not the device's -No call controls Cons: -The mic has no noticeable noise cancellation -The build is very plastic -The USB head is so big, it probably has the ADC there (as shown in the pic they provide) -The USB port doesn't fit entirely into the PC Overall, 4 stars for these headphones. I paid like 30 bucks for them and that is fine, but I would never pay 60 bucks for them. There are other models that have more features for a fairer price.

Due to Covid-19, I am now working from home on most days. We are doing a lot of video conferencing as result. The feedback I received from a colleague was that the earpiece I was using was really bad and he recommended getting this headset instead. I ordered this but was a little apprehensive at first as my wife did some research and found that the price I paid for was much higher than what Amazon used to sell it for. In addition, this model is a couple of years old. However, whatever reservation I had vanished when the headset arrived. First of all, the mic quality is exceptional. During video conferencing, it sounds way above the rest who were using other mics. If you are looking for a headset with a fantastic mic, get this one. This is its best attribute. The headset uses a USB connection rather than a 3.5mm jack. So it is limited to laptops and devices that has a USB port. Audio quality was also excellent. While obviously not as good as a $300 headset I owned in the past, the audio quality is still very good. I really enjoyed listening to music using this headset. Volume is also good. Overall, this is a very good headset and very good value for what you are paying. As mentioned earlier, I paid more for this headset than what it used to sell on Amazon but I still think that it is worth every cent and a steal for the quality and what I am getting. The selling point for this headset is the mic quality, so if you do a lot of video conferencing or dialog, this will come in handy. Love this product.

I do not do many reviews but have some good experience with this headset. The shipping was delayed due to the weather before Xmas so one star for that. As to the headset, very good sound for supra aural, very comfortable to wear for extended periods (like gaming), decent positional for small cans and a mic that is well known for being one of the best in ANY consumer class headset. Noise free, no echo, will not pick up a TV 5 feet away, just you, will handle Dragon with no problem. The one thing that you will have to keep in mind is the thin wires. Sennheiser does this on purpose for noise cancellation and the mic wire inside is actually shielded inside a metal sheathing, however it is easy to cut the bundle and impossible to fix. You can run over it with a chair no problem, but if you have chewy cats or kids put them away or wrap the wires with some extra protection, otherwise a great set. The USB works flawlessly on desktop and laptop. Just remember that they do not supply any software so all you get is the volume and mute control inline ( there might be some third party software you can use), The USB sound card beats my on board laptop sound by a mile even without adjustments. If you like a LOT a bass these are not for you. The volume is sufficient for most people and you can still hear what is going on around you. They are good at playing a wide variety of music as well as MMO's and such. So, one star off for shipping and the headphones are a strong 4 stars, wound recommend if you like lightweight with a great mic and can take some care to protect the cord. On sale at other places for a good deal less if you look....... rosh789

After vetting several inexpensive mics to send to podcast guests, I was pleasantly surprised by the EPOS Sennheiser PC 8 USB headset/mic. The audio quality of both the headphones and the mic are very good. Mic audio is very full with a good amount of bottom end. They don't sound tinny or thin. I would recommend good mic placement and a foam pop filter to go over the end of the mic to help mitigate plosives (that thumping distortion sound from air hitting the mic). The inline mute switch is a nice touch as well as the long cord. It's very lightweight and perfect for those long Zoom sessions. I've literally bought about 18 of these for podcast guests over the last couple of years. I have yet to have one with a problem. I even bought a pair for myself. For the price, I think you'll be hard-pressed to find a USB headset/mic combo that sounds as good as these.

To działa z laptopem. Posiada wbudowaną kartę dźwiękową . Idealny do video konferencji. jedyne słuchawki, które komputer i laptop widzi jako odrębne urządzenie do odsłuchu i mikrofon. W ustawieniach dźwięku ustawić mikrofon jako EPOS PC 8 USB i działać!!!!. Zdecydowanie polecam!!!

Good solid headset. Nicely lightweight and adjustable. My five year old nephew could wear it as easily as I could. Also has good sound pickup with the mic. Two minor nitpicks: 1. The ear covers tend to wear down with frequent use, it would be nice to have some replacements ship with the product. I tend to have to replace them yearly as they start to disintegrate. 2. They tend to have about a three year lifespan before they start becoming glitchy. I have not dropped my review score because of this, because this is a cheap headset and honestly I'm happy to shell out for another set every three years for how much I use them. If you're looking for a headset for continuous use (i.e. telemarketing), I'd suggest something a bit more sturdy, but I use these for both listening to music and for frequent online meetings (1-4 daily) and they hold up very well.

Disappointed. Use it to read reports and it is super sensitive to background sounds. I am typing more than dictating. After I wrote this review, I changed the recognition voice program I am using and the difference is amazing. The mics works great !

I'm an IT professional and I have recently switched my company to purchasing these as our previous model of headset was discontinued by its manufacturer. I generally find that these provide good value, you're getting the well-known high quality of Sennheiser that beats comparables handily. It's nice that these are stereo, the headsets with only one earpiece aren't great in a noisy office. These work well for Skype for Business/Teams and presumably other calling apps; both the earpieces and microphone work very well. The onboard mute and volume controls work as expected. This is quite comfortable for as long as I've used it which is about half an hour at a time. I'm not sure if this would work well for all-day heavy-duty use or for music/movies/gaming, but it might. However, for occasional short calls, this is the gold standard.
