I exhaust researching when I want to buy a product, and with this one, I found exactly what I wanted! I vacilated over the very popular and now common cleaners that have a rotary brush, that advertise vacuuming and mopping together. In years past, I had a cordless little vaccuum for vacuuming up quick messes, but would never want to put liquid in it. These new units advertise it all, even self-cleaning of the brush in a stand after use. I have not tried any of those. I almost bought one of those, but thougth they were very big and pretty expensive. and wanted something convenient - not combersome. I wanted something that was easy to quickly go over my floor after cooking, or a spill of some sort. I needed to buy a mop for my new luxury vinyl floor as well, and those bigger units say they do it all. But, I wouldn't need these big units because I don't have young children and animals that would make very messy messes. I really hesitated with this Shark worrying it was just too small, too light weight to be of a big value. I am SO HAPPY I decided to go ahead and try it!! The suction is unbelievably strong! Don't know how it can do it! Moves over the floor so easily and does a great job! Then the mopping feature is perfect as well! I has it's separate lever to widely spray out the liquid with the vacuum off, then going over the wet area, the disposable pad on the bottom has just the right texture to really scrub over the floor. I personally don't like the pre-mixed cleaning solution that comes with the Swiffers - seems sticky to me. This Shark unit has solution you can use and buy to pour into the small containing area on the unit, but I pour just plain water in it, so that I feel free to wet my floor how ever I want, without feeling there has to be some rinsing of it. Or a special way of applying it. I can add cleaner whenever I want, and don't have to continually buy a bottle of cleaner that attaches, when I want to do some mopping or wet clean-up. This Shark unit has never run out of battery for me. I hang it on a hook in my pantry, and plug it in occasionally if I have used it a lot. The pad on the bottom! - I end up loving it!!! Again, Shark is genious to make it to hold the dry litter from the floor in it, and you have the choice of leaving it until full, or it also opens up and you can dispose of it, emptying it and replacing without buying a new one yet. Then it is a throw-away when you decide it has been used too much. It even has a small scratcher strip along it, if you need to scrub a little on the floor. I also purchased 2 reusable cloth pads made for it,that fit perfectly that I can launder if I don't want to keep buying the disposable ones. This is EASY, does a great job, has big suction, mops the floor, is cordless, ergonomic, light weight. But mostly does a great great job. I may buy one of the machines with a spinning brush on it for when I want to really scrub the floor in the grooves of the floor- like Spring or Fall extra cleaning. But I am definitly keeping my floor very clean on a daily basis, so it always looks so clean! Thank you Shark!! I love your products! It is perfect!! High Quality!!!

I love this thing. Got it as a gift before I loved into an apartment with a small hardwood area for a kitchen and it was a lifesaver because I didn’t have to hand clean the tiny area and could instead use this. Then I moved into a larger house that has all wood floors and tile in the kitchen. The original one I had broke (my son dropped it) so I sprung for a new one. A year later I got one for my mom and they updated the machine so that it has a light for it. Super awesome. My mom didn’t like it because it’s too loud, so now I have a spare. Worth the money not to have to hand clean or mop. Less mess and way convenient to have the vacuum along with the pad you can wet

Love it! Its always annoyed me after sweeping & you start to mop but start finding bits that the broom left behind so I would have to bend down & get it off the floor before i could resume mopping. With this, thats no issue. You can sweep then mop-super fast, without having multiple tools & steps. The suction power is pretty good for the size. It wont suck up anything super heavy but works just fine for simple cleaning. Everything is literally at your finger tips & i love the quick, mess-free disposal of the vacuumed up stuff as well as the mop pad. Just hold it over the trash can after youre all done & push a button & its all done. Love the cordless aspect-the battery lasts a long time!

Love this vac/mop. I had a Swiffer vac for years, which I LOVED. However, it died, and they do not make those anymore. I have been on the hunt for a replacement, when I came across this little gem. I looked at it for awhile, read the reviews, and decided - what the hell. I can always return it. Pros: GREAT suction. Love the fact it will pick up kitty litter. Love the light on the vac. I have dark hardwood floors in 90% of my home and cats with dark hair. You cannot see what exactly how hairy the floor really is until the light shines on the floor, and then you realize just how badly you needed to vacuum. Love being able to throw away the pad and plastic container after vacuuming. Love the long charge. I have a 4100 square foot home, and right now the charge will last while vacuuming the downstairs and part of the upstairs. That might be 20+ minutes. The spray feature sprays a lot of solution, and it sprays a long distance. Cons: You really cannot use the mop and vac at the same time. If you vac first, then mop, whatever dirt or ick you have on the pad gets wiped all over the wet floor. If you mop first and then vac, you are still smearing hair, dirt, and whatever across the floor. Also, the solution leaves a sticky residue on the hardwood. The bottle says it is safe for hardwood, and it may be true. BUT - I used it last weekend in the kitchen after a bizarre bar-b-que sauce incident, and it left a sticky feeling. I did wipe all of the sauce up with a sponge first before I used the mop feature. The only way to get the sticky residue off the floor was to wipe down my kitchen with a wet washcloth, and then go back over the floor with the Bona. My plan is to put the Bona solution in the vac/mop after the Shark solution in it has been depleted. I am going to try the Shark solution on the tile floors in the bathroom to see if it works better on tile. I did purchase the reusable pads for when I am not ready to throw away the plastic vac container. I would love to be able to purchase just plastic part without the disposable pads, but that is not available. All in all, I am pleased and will keep the vac/mop. May purchase a second just to keep upstiars.

We had a similar piece earlier which broke after almost 2 years of use. Hence, we understand the reliability of this material. It is good and we purchased the same product again.

I really like this vac/map, it’s very practical for my home. It’s great for daily cleaning and also just quick clean ups, it’s very light and easy to carry anywhere in the house. I find the suction to be very good. I mainly use it on the areas of my home with laminate flooring, so the pads do last for a good amount of uses. For tiled areas like my kitchen, that need a deeper clean, I use this more like a broom replacement and then mop with my steam mop, it’s still great because it’s just so much faster than sweeping.

The vacuum it self is amazing quality. However, the quality they use is cheap and terrible quality. The plastic, the fabric or cotton wears out in just a few strokes of vacuum cleaner. The area or compartment that the dust and materials collected is very small. I don’t commend to buy.

The Shark Vacmop is extremely agile and manages to get into every small area. The suction and pick up ability far surpasses my expectation. The convenience and the ease of use makes this device a great contributor to keeping my condo floors always at its best. It is excellent for small areas and big areas alike for the convenience of quick cleanup‘s. Sheldon/Montreal
