I accidentally ordered these cables, but I hope to find a use for them. I intended to order mini HDMI for Wyze cameras, so these won't work for me in that application but we have many USB C devices that these will come in very handy for! It's nice to have some really long cables on hand.

THESE ARE TOTALLY NON-FUNCTIONAL I TRIED LITERALLY TO CONNECT THEM ABOUT 50 TIMES THE CONNECTION WOULD BE FOR MY WALL ADAPTER TO MY IPAD AND NOT ONE TIME DID THEY WORK AND THE OTHER THING IS THE LENGHT THIS WAS A 30-INCH CABLE SO ALMOST 3 FEET LONG WAY TOO MUCH LENGTH( TBH I DIDN'T REALIZE HOW LONG UNTIL UNRAVELING THESE) AND THEY ARE TOTAL TRASH DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Got this as an extension for the Tapo C120. Good length, but the plug end does not fit snuggly into the C120's USB-C power port. The metal connector is fine, but the white plastic shroud/housing around the metal connector is too big. The C120 USB-C female power port has a rubber grommet - to make the C120 water resistant when the power cable is plugged in. And this cable's white plastic shroud/housing is too tall (see photos). Without modifying, when plugged in the connection would not be water resistant. Since I was using C120s outside, I modified the white plastic housing - filing it down to be less tall... to match how tall the original power cable white plastic shroud/housing was. In the first photo: the original plug end has the small grey line on the plastic shroud/housing - so when you plug it in, you know that you have plugged it in fully. In the second photo, I've used a micro file to file down the new plug end's shroud/housing to be the same height. And to the same depth as the small grey line on the original power cable. If I didn't have the micro file, I would have used a piece of sand paper to sand down the entire length of the shroud/housing.

These work well for cameras that are located far from outlets. There is some loss of charging ability due to the length of the cable. So, it won't charge a cell phone very quickly. The solar camera would probably need to have a rechargeable battery. I like these as a solution for when you want your solar camera to record continously. You would no longer use the solar panel.
