It's cool to bring West Coast MCs together, but if this is what comes of it, Snoop needs to either re-think these things or reach out to better artists like DJ Quik, WC, Spice 1, B-Real, and MC Ren. As for the album, Kam easliy spits the best rhymes on the song "Pop Pop Bang!" Kam is incredible. The only songs I can even get into are the few that feature Kam and Kurupt. Snoop has his mind in the right place by trying to put new/er West Coast artists on the map. But to put them on a disc with Kam, Kurupt, and Eiht....come on Snoop.

SNOOP DOGG PRESENTS THE BIG SQUEEZE I bought this album when I was visiting my family up in Maryland when my little sister graduated from high school, so luckily I had some thing new to listen to on my long drive home to Texas. This album for the most part was produced by Snoop Dogg under the name Niggaracci with help from Terrance Martin. 1.INTRO-great beat 2.HAT 2 THA BACC-I was worried about how this album would sound with Snoop producing the majority of it, this cleared that up real quick. He came with a hard thumping pulsating beat that just gets your head moving. And what better group to put on there then WESTERN UNION. Bad Lucc kills it first with an excellent flow, followed up by Damani. Soopafly takes the final verse and kills it, and Snoop is on the hook.5/5 3.WE CAME TO BANG OUT-Soopafly came with a sure fire banger on this one here, I am not kidding this one is amazing. His production on this track is not only hard but reminds me of some old school stuff mixed in with a new style. Of course his killer verse is second to none; he kills this track with a vicious verse. Daz drops the next verse and does his thing on here, his flow on here is great. And of course Kurupt destroys this track, his killer battle raps fit this beat perfectly.5/5 4.SHACKLED UP-Snoop returns to his winning production ways with this one, this time with his other group WAR ZONE. The beat is a dark slow pounding beat that changes up for the hook, definitely a great beat. Goldie Loc starts it out with a cool verse that will leave wishing Tha Eastsidaz were still kicking. Next up is the great Kam one destroys this beat with a perfect flow and verse, and you know MC Eiht kills the last verse. Another winner right here.4/5 5.POP POP BANG-now this right here should have been the single for the album, this joint would have sold. Snoop deserves a lot of credit for this beat right here, absolutely his best beat on the album. If you ain't into this one something is wrong. Kurupt annihilates the first two verses with some killer verses, this just proves why he is one of the greatest rappers ever. Then Kam comes in for the last verse and just kills it, his flow on this track is outstanding. Absolutely the best song on the album.5/5 6.31 FLAVORS-we follow that one up with another collaboration between Kurupt and Snoop. But Snoop not only provides the beat by this time trades verses with Kurupt. The production on this track while repetitive is still a head knodder, and both artist do their thing on this track.4/5 7.ALL ABOUT DAMANI-another great song right here, Snoop really did his thing on this track with a cool beat that fits Damani's style perfectly. Damani by the way kills this track with a very unique style that shows why he is one of the up and comers on the west. And with Snoop on the hook this track comes together nicely, good song.4.5/5 8.LIKE ROCK STARS-a lot of people really like this track but for some reason I really didn't get into this track. Don't get me wrong this is definitely worth a listen, the beat is cool just something is off to me. Snoop kinda sounds annoying to me on the hook, but Bad Lucc kills the first verse as does Damani on the second. Uncle Chuck sounds good on this track, kind of a good contrast and JT Tha Bigga Figga rough voice sounds good over this beat. Snoop lays down a good verse but he just seems out of place here.3/5 9.SPEND SOME TIME-we get back on track with this great song right here, one of the better ones on the album. The beat from Snoop is real smooth and cool, really well put together. And the hook by Uncle Chuck and Ricky Harris is amazing, these two sound great when the sing. And you know Kurupt does his thing on this song with a great verse. Of course this type of song is right up Soopafly's ally so he delivers an excellent verse, great song for the ladies. Snoop sounds cool as well on the hook.4.5/5 10.IS GOOD TO YA-another great song and another great production by Snoop, to be honest I would have thought that Soopafly produced this track. This track is about your first time if you know what I mean. The hook to this song is great, kinda old school feeling to it. Snoop drops the first verse and does well with his, but Damani's verse is great as follows up Snoop. JT Tha Bigga Figga delivers a good verse but Kurupt's verse that follows is excellent and may be the best on the song. Of course Soopafly's closing verse is great since this is his type of song, great song.5/5 11.GET YOUR BODY MOVING-this track is kinda like track # 9, great catchy beat from Snoop and a great hook by Uncle Chuck. But this time around it is MC Eiht that starts out this song with a nice verse that sets up the flow of the song. Kam comes in next with another nice verse about his girl, followed by Uncle Chuck with a cool verse. The saxophone at the end sounds cool.4/5 12.GET CLOSER-this is the first appearance of Azure' on this album, this is a good debut in my opinion. This maybe the better of the two tracks she brings forth, Snoop and Terrance Martin produced a cool little beat for these two do their thing on it. She sounds real good on the hook, as well on the final verse of the song. It is Snoop that seems like the star of this song though with two really well put together verses. He adjusts his flow to more of an up tempo type of rap. This song reminds me of Ocean City Maryland for some reason.4/5 13.CAN U GET AWAY-the other song on the album that Snoop didn't produce, and this one happens to be one of the better songs on the album. David Banner provided one of the best and smoothest beat on this track. And the hook by Ray J is probably my favorite thing about this song, really love the chorus on this song. Goldie Loc really does well on this track with some great verses, his second verse in particular sounds real good. This could have been a lovely single, I wish it would have been.5/5 14.GET IT STARTED-this is the second song featuring Azure' and while it has a wonderful beat, she sounds off on this track. She really does not sound like she knows what she is doing on this song, she sounds ok on the hook but real bad on the first verse. She makes an improvement on the second verse but not enough to make you forget the first verse were she sounded off beat. Snoop does what he can on the hook, but the only redeemable thing about this song in my opinion is Snoop's instrumental on this song.3/5 15.BE THANKFUL-this one of the tracks I was waiting to hear, I've been knowing about Terrance Martin for a while now and was waiting for this track. Martin is a great produced out in the west and provides one of the beast beats on the album right here, his horns on this song sound great. His verse is great and is followed by Uncle Chuck and J. Black on a wonderful hook. This has got to be one of the best songs I have ever heard, and Martin's second verse is great. The ending to this song is great with some beautiful horns, amazing song.5/5 These next three tracks were bonus songs that came on some versions. I am going to assume that they were produced by Snoop [Niggaracci]. 16.U IN TROUBLE-this first one has got to be the best of the bonus tracks, with a great pounding beat from Snoop. This track kinda reminds me off # 6 but this time the beat has a little more going on in it. But this time it is just Kurupt providing the verses for this song, and he kills each verse with a great flow. Snoop provides a cool hook.4/5 17.LEAN ON ME-this track is on the level of track # 8 in my opinion. This is a JT Tha Bigga Figga solo track as he provides every verse and the hook for this song, in which he does well with all. But the hook gets annoying after a while and Snoop's beat is a little annoying in my opinion.3/5 18.WE GO HARD-this one right here is for all the car systems out there, the bass on this one is crazy. Snoop dropped a cool beat that gets better during the hook, he also provides the hook and an opening verse. Damani dropped the second verse and killed it. Then surprise Katt Williams kills the next verse with what could be the best verse on the song. Soopafly comes in next and drops a great verse that rivals Katt's as the best on the song. Kurupt closes the song of with a great humorous verse that makes me laugh every time.4/5 Good album, pick it up with the three bonus tracks

Wow, is all I got to say about this CD. It is awesome especially the Special Edition with 3 bonus tracks. So much West Coast Gangster Rap on one cd. How did they do it. Awesome.

Snoop is back with another one of his Presents albums (his last 2 I wasn't impressed with either "Doggystyle All-Stars (3 stars) and Bones Soundtrack (barely 3 stars). I expected more looking at the line up. Kurupt (who all know is great), War Zone (MC Eiht (a west coast legend) - Kam (another good west coast vet), and Goldie Loc (average at best), Westurn Union (Soopfly (who is tight), Damani (Pretty good the few songs I heard him on) and Bad Lucc (who also is decent). So the line-up is good but something went a little off on the album. With 17 songs (if you got the bonus edition) only 5 are good, 2 I skip and the other 10 are average. Production is mostly handled by Snoop (an average job as well - the best beat he did is the intro and no one raps on it). He got help on a few swongs from Terrace Martin and Uncle Chuck and Soopfly and David Banner each did 1 song. I'd probably pass this one by. #2 - 8 (Bad Lucc, Damani, Soopafly, Snoop Dogg) #3 - 8.5 (Soopafly f/ Daz, Kurupt, Snoop Dogg) #4 - 7.5 (Goldie Loc, Kam, MC Eiht) #5 - 8.5 (Kurupt f/ Kam -- nice beat) #6 - 7 (snoop dogg & kurupt) #7 - 7 (Damani & snoop dogg) #8 - 8.5 (Bad Lucc, Damani, uncle chuck, JT tthe bigga figga) #9 - 7.5 (uncle chuck, kurupt, soopafly) #10 - 7.5 (snoop dogg, damani, jt the bigga figga, kurupt, soopafly) #11 - 7.5 (MC Eiht, Kam, Uncle Chuck) #12 - 5 (azure & snoop dogg) #13 - 6.5 (goldie loc f/ Ray J) #14 - 3 (azure) #15 - 8 (Terrace Martin, J Black, Uncle chuck) #16 - 7 (Kurupt) #17 - 6.5 (JT the bigga figga) #18 - 6.5 (snoop dogg, soopafly, katt williams, kurupt) check all my reviews
