I bought this in preparation for snowfall. 12+ inches fell and I had a chance to use it in real world conditions. It is supremely useful when used to push snow off my SUV. When fully extended, I can reach the entire width of my vehicle and can push everything off the hood and windshield from one side. I have luggage racks so I push the roof snow back a bit from the front, then stand behind the car and pull it all off. I then pushed off the bit of snow on my side panels, rear window, and bumper. It took perhaps 60 seconds to clear over a foot of snow off my car. I has a few small annoyances, though. The threaded head attachment means you can't put any pressure on the head from the side or you will unscrew it. I tried to use the corner of the foam to clear near my luggage racks and bumper, and the head would start twisting freely. The headlight function is also not very impressive. After dark, it is barely noticeable when powered on and I ended up holding my phone flashlight in the other hand instead. The switch to turn it on and off is very easy to bump around as well, and I found the lights on twice already while this was sitting inside my car. I also had a lot of difficulty purposely turning the lights on with gloved hands. I'd say save the couple bucks and don't bother with the LED lights. Also, using the ice scraper on the opposite end is kind of annoying with the foam head attached. I ended up detaching the head to use the scraper. Overall, it is the best snow removal tool I've purchased. Other things have come close like ice scrapers with rotatable heads, but the stiff foam of the Snowjoe is much better suited to this task than the nylon bristles of a standard scraper. I was originally looking for a pushbroom to put in my car, and this turned out to work so much better.

Gets the snow off my car really well. I can now reach the snow on the roof of my car. I love it1

Play Video The big foam pusher is great for moving large amounts of light snow. We just got about a foot in a day, and it was awesome to use to quickly push snow off the vehicles. It seems to be made pretty sturdy. I think there are three things that can be improved. The plastic clips that hold the telescoping pole is too loose, and the pole doesn't stay clipped in. It needs to be tighter. The telescoping pole extends like shower curtain rods, and as skinny and slippery (when wet) as it is, it is difficult to get a firm grip on it to extend or collapse it. If only it had a rubber handle closer to the pusher end to help provide a firmer grip. When I get a chance, I hope to wrap it with some grippy or abrasive tape. The telescoping pole threads into the pusher like a wooden handle does into a deck brush or broom. While using the snow broom, it kept coming loose, and wanting to rotate. I think I can gum it up with silicone caulk or semi permanently or permanently affix it so it won't ever come loose, but the snow broom is pretty big and I worry that it would be cumbersome to have in the car fully assembled. I'm not sure what to do about this problem. I do like how well it works though, so I bought another. ****UPDATE 2024/02/22**** Despite the shortcomings, I purchased another one. It pushes large amounts of soft snow off effortlessly. Unfortunately, part of it arrived damaged in an undamaged box. One of the battery contacts was bent, and the o-ring under the battery compartment was mangled. (See photo.) I reached customer support, and they sent me a replacement pretty quickly. I've updated this 3 star review to a 4 star review for their excellent customer service.

I’ve tried a few different varieties of these snow brooms over the years. They’re a must have for any larger SUV but also a great option for any car. They last a few seasons and usually need replacing. This works as well as the best of them. The foam head is nice for not scratching paint, but you need to be a bit careful to not tear it. The handle seems to lock in place well in the short or extended position. The handle will easily unscrew itself from the head when using it. Every one of these types of tools has the same issue, so not a big surprise. I like the plastic handle after my last one, with a metal handle, rusted and snapped off at the extension point. The lights are a gimmick but don’t hurt anything. If you live in a snow area, you need one of these.

I saw this on sale for 50% off and took a chance at the end of the snow season. Well we've had two freak storms so far and I've used both times and it's fantastic. First of all, I didn't know I needed something like this. Like most living in the NE, I'd just use a broom or just my longish ice scraper. It was tedious slow work and sharp as all get out. I usually just left a bunch of snow on top of the car to be blown off probably in your face. Sorry about that. But since I've got this, it's fairly easy just to grab all the snow from the roof, hood, even side of the car. I'd say in 5 minutes you can make very heavy dent and probably drive. It's a very soft broom part and big enough to grab very large swaths of snow. Any negatives? Well the LED light is an interesting idea but ultimately useless. It's far too dim to show anything. The little holder to keep the broom together with the handle is pretty bad. It doesn't really hold it tight. Finally, I'd love a telescoping handle and a slightly bigger broom part. Other than that, it's kind of a game changer for me. If you get ANY amounts of snow, just get this and throw it in the back of your car or in the garage. It really is a neat little gadget.

Pushes the snow (only had 4 inches or less) off fairly easily. It does feel like it could easily break, time will tell. The lights don't illuminate very much and are pretty pointless in my opinion. They should put that money into making it sturdier and upping the quality more.

Bought two of these, one for my truck and one for my shop. Have only used them a couple times but seem to be very solid construction. The twist lock on the telescoping handle leaves a little room for imrovement, but the handle is sturdy while scraping, and the foam "brush" works amazing for heavy snow, and is stiff enough to get light ice off. I was surprised to find LED lights on the foam part, but don't waste your time putting batteries in, they are very dim and basically useless. Would recommend buying, especially for the price. Works great.

I received the snow brush and the blue window scaper part arrived broken. The shipping took a very long time and now I am hoping just to get a replacement part since it took so long to arrive at my daughter's place. Soon it will be spring and I won't need it anymore

Price was right and it does work well and fast. Handle loosens up most of the time I use it, but I don't think I'll glue it or wedge with a screw since I'll be storing it in summer. Hope the ice and hard snow don't rip the scrape edges apart as winter gets worse. Seems a bit flimsy, and it's large size makes it impossible to get in tight areas like mirrors or door handles. When necessary, I still use a smaller brush. If it lasts, I'll inspect after winter to decide if this is a "disposible" snow broom.

I will keep buying these! Best thing for vehicles! Extends to reach the roofs of trucks and SUV’s. Doesn’t scratch the vehicle! Fast and easy snow removal with these! A great gift!!

Lights are not working, and not very strong for the amount of snow we get hear in Canada .
