I purchased a queen sized mattress last year. The first use was for a guest staying with us for a week. The setup was dead simple and the quality of the product was apparent. The guest raved about the comfort and we ran into zero issues all week long. Deflating and bagging the unit for storage after the week was over was a snap. We pulled it out again over the winter holiday for another guest. Once again, setup was simple, and the guest tried it out and commented about how comfortable it was. Unfortunately, this time, the mattress had a leak. I didn't notice anything obvious, so we just pumped some air back in to get us through, which was easy enough. I contacted SoundAsleep and I was able to connect with Customer Service quickly, and it was a friendly person operating inside the US (not the typical offshore call center), which was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. They listened to my issue and immediately offered to replace the unit with no hesitation. Tremendous customer service, and they clearly stand behind their product.

First, the basics. I purchased a "SoundAsleep Dream Series Air Mattress with ComfortCoil Technology". The size I purchased is a Twin XL. Everything that I read in the description for this Air Mattress is correct. The bed, out of the box, inflated in 5 minutes or less. The bed came very well packed in a box, and while the box had a few impact marks, the bed and the bag that it came packed in were in perfect condition. It also comes with a patch kit with I believe, enough material to patch two holes. The top has a waffled effect and it is "flocked", if that is the correct term. I like both as the "waffle" effect allow my shoulders and head to "sink into" the bed and for my back to get more support. The flocking is almost a skid resistant surface "holds" both blankets and sheets pretty much stay in place and prevents them from sliding around on the bed. The bed also has, when inflated, a kind of a raised bumper all the way around the edges which is very nice as it tells you where you are on the bed if you need to know. The top is supposed to be easy to clean which is a feature I hoped I would never have to us. Of course, that is not the case. On about the fifth night of sleeping on the bed I noticed that there was something on the mattress which turned out to be a piece of pie crust from one of the blankets I was using. The pie crust left an oily mark about two inches square. A little dish soapy water and the oily mark came right off and the mattress looks as good as new. No problem with the flocking coming off either. This is the most comfortable bed I have slept on in many, many years. My wife likes a bed that is almost rock hard which leaves my back and neck without support and aching when I get up in the morning. With this air mattress I can now adjust the bed to just how firm or soft I want it. I keep the bed inflated all the time and, so far, have only had to add air to it about every four to five days ~ 20-30 seconds and the mattress is back just where I like it. While the inflation/deflation fans are somewhat loud, only using them for 20-30 seconds once a week really makes the noise a non-issue. The electric cord for the fans even has a nice storage place built into the mattress to keep it out of the way. I was also concerned about getting hot sleeping on what is really a plastic surface. So far, I have been perfectly comfortable on this mattress. I suspect the flocking helps with that as well. I realize that this mattress is not really supposed to be an every night forever kind of a bed, but I am going to use it like that for as long as I can. I have been sleeping on it for six or seven weeks and have enjoyed it every night. When it wears out, provided it is still available, I will happily purchase another one. Addendum: One day earlier this week, it is now July 21, 2023, my Dream Series air mattress finally stopped retaining its air. At first it was a very slow leak, about 12 hours for the mattress to get "squishy". Last night it only took about 5 hours. Today I called the SoundAsleep support number and spoke with Casey. I can honestly say that for as much as I like the mattress, the customer support is even better. Not only was Casey pleasant and knowledgeable to talk to, she is going to replace my mattress and has even expedited the shipping on it. Yes, even though I am using the mattress as my long term bed which it is not meant for. So, in a couple of days I will have a new "dream" series mattress! The only drawback to this whole experience is that now I have to renew my search for an air mattress that is actually meant to be a "long term" bed and keep my SoundAsleep mattress as a backup. I sure hope I can find one that comes close to being as comfortable as my SoundAsleep mattress. This product and this company are keepers!

Great air mattress! Fully inflates in four minutes and is easy to use with built in pump. Very comfortable and cool to sleep on. Customer service is excellent. I called because mine had a leak, and they sent me a replacement the next day. Definitely recommend!

This air mattress is well made and extremely comfortable. It's easy to set up, take down, and store. It also sits well off the ground so you don't feel like you're sleeping on the floor. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it for occasional use, but it is not meant for long term daily use (which is true for all air mattresses). Unfortunately I found out the hard way. My mattress developed a stress slit on the seam after several weeks of nightly use. When I contacted customer service, they immediately sent me another one. That one lasted another 6 weeks of nightly use, but failed again in the same way. I contacted them again and Casey explained to me the limits of air mattresses. They offered to send me another one or refund the purchase price, which I took. They were very gracious about the whole thing which is why I'm giving them 5 stars. It was an excellent product that I failed to use correctly. If I ever need a spare mattress for a guest, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again.

As soon as I turned the pump on it smoke started to come out. I turned it off, manually deinflated and more smoke was coming out inside the air mattress. I took it outside and poured water on the pump and the smoke stopped.

Bought it for a weekend getaway. Inflated and deflated quickly. Light to move around. Feels more like a real bed than I was expecting. The mattress doesn’t make any noise when moving around, the motor might be a little loud for some. I’d compare it to a small vacuum. But less than 4 mins to fill it wasn’t a big deal at all. My only complaint would be the length. I’m 6’1, I got on the mattress, however, the edges are raised and can be a little bit annoying. I think a smaller topper (memory foam or pad) would fix that issue easily. I would definitely recommend this mattress.
