As a mother of eight, finding the right educational resources for my children is incredibly important—and Spectrum workbooks have been an absolute game-changer in our home! With kids at different grade levels and learning styles, I need materials that are thorough, easy to follow, and engaging. Spectrum workbooks check all those boxes and more.
What I love most is how well-organized and straightforward the lessons are. My children can work through them independently, but they’re also structured enough that I can easily step in and help when needed. The explanations are clear, the exercises reinforce key concepts beautifully, and there’s plenty of practice to ensure mastery. Whether it's math, reading, language arts, or writing, these books provide a solid foundation that truly helps my kids excel.
Another huge plus is that they’re not overwhelming. The layout is clean, the instructions are simple, and my children actually enjoy working through them (which, as any parent knows, is a big deal!). I also appreciate the answer keys, which make it easy for me to check their progress without spending hours grading.
Spectrum workbooks have become a staple in our homeschooling and supplemental learning routine. They’ve helped my children build confidence in their skills, and I’ve seen firsthand how effective they are. If you're a parent looking for high-quality, affordable workbooks that actually make a difference, I can't recommend Spectrum enough!

These are good practice books for my kids. I used them over the summer and I believe it kept thw kids occupied and prevented them from having summer brains!! I bought the 3rd grade for my daughter who was leaving second grade and for my son the 4th grade ones who was leaving 3rd grade over the summer.

I work as a personal tutor, and students have had difficulty with topics they missed out on or didn't understand during covid instruction. I have used this book with my students (as well as several other spectrum books) to help them catch up on fundamentals and reinforce old concepts that they should know. I think the books are laid out well, and the pre- and post-tests fit nicely with the material in each chapter. The only drawback is that a lot of the subsections lack explanations of the concepts so you as a parent or teacher need to know those very well. I would recommend this to any parent or tutor who helps younger children or who needs a book to review concepts.

I definitely recommend this math book to any parent with kids struggling with math. I bought it for my son who is a third graded and was struggling with math. I had him complete a page a day. I love it that it is easy for him to follow the instructions on each page. I see lot of improvement in his math skills. Planning to buy more.

My daughter liked this very much a good book fir summer
Ordered in hard copy to Melbourne, Australia, during extended lockdowns resulting from the global pandemic. Ordinarily, I would purchase the eBook of the same, however couldn't get access to a printer during COVID lockdowns. My son is currently doing his Grade 4 version, however I have been using these since Grade 1 or 2. My husband and I are of the opinion that the maths standard and content in these books are exceptionally helpful in consolidating learning, and perhaps even in extending the child. I have also used the Language Arts (grammar) books. Australians and UK customers - just be aware that you are reading American English, and the spelling deviates at times.

We used the grade 2 last year and we’re now ready for the grade 3. Easy to use and the instructions are clear. Keeps the child interested and have fun while learning

My Son told me that Grade 2 was too easy, and seeing as how the school system here is not set up to accelerate kids through when they are doing good. I decided to get some Grade 3 math for him to do. It is great for both of us he gets a jump start on math and extra practice and I get to teach him so he is one step ahead.
