As a multi instrumentalists, this is my first Tongue Drum purchase and Hopwell did a fantastic job with the D Major tone. This is not my first time playing a Tonuge Drum I have played on top brand like Sonic but not ready to spend $600. Very pleased with the Hopwell. If you are a beginner; this is a great starter for the price, very well tuned, Love the carry bag, you will need to buy some fome padding to protect from damage if you plan to travel with it like I do. If you want to record yourself playing, you will need to use a microphone setup. Just like the higher end tongue drums. Either way, hands down to Hopwell great job for a cheaper price and a sweet tone. Thank you.

Just received my beautiful steel tongue drum today and I'm so happy! Beautifully handcrafted, comes in a sturdy carrying case also well crafted. I bought the green one, all in all I'm totally satisfied and looking forward to learning how to play my drum (my first time owning one). Hope the video came out good lol I need to read the instructions in the included booklet to learn to play, tune and enjoy my new instrument. Great sound and excellent quality! I was really impressed with the clarity and richness of the sound. It’s perfect for anyone who enjoys listening to well-produced music, whether you’re a beginner or more advanced. The overall build feels sturdy, and the tone is crisp and clear. The book that comes with it is a nice touch, adding a little extra to the experience. However, I would recommend having a basic understanding of sheet music to fully get the most out of it. It’s great for those who are familiar with reading music but might be a little tricky if you’re completely new. That said, I love having the book as a resource to challenge myself and explore new pieces. It’s a great way to expand my skills while enjoying beautiful music. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s a solid investment for anyone looking to enhance their music collection, but just be aware that a little sheet music knowledge will make it even better!

The HOPWELL Steel Tongue Drum is a joy to play and offers a relaxing, meditative experience. The 15 notes provide a good range, and the included music book and accessories make it easy to get started. However, one note seems slightly out of tune, which can be a bit distracting when playing. Thankfully, the rest of the drum sounds great, and it’s still fun and enjoyable overall. It’s a good option for beginners or anyone looking for a calming instrument, but the tuning issue keeps it from being perfect.

Click to play video This was one of my best purchases with my adult money. I've wanted a tongue drum for years and this is a great instrument. It came 2 days earlier than expected and in perfect condition. It was a nice carry bag, mallets and finger mallets, replacement stickers and a book of songs (good songs you'll actually know and play). The tuning is good. Even if you just want to play around, it's easy to make little melodies. Has a nice sound and not too buzzy on the high notes.

Seriously the whole family loved it, the sound isn't aggressing for the ears, easy to use, great quality, perfect size, the only thing that would make it better is if the bag could be a little bit wider since it's harder to put it back in and if it would have a pocket to store the sticks and book would make it perfect!
