Message to my fellow picky pup pawrents — I’m thrilled to say this is the chosen one! My Havanese is borderline annoyingly selective with food. If you’ve got a dog who treats most meals like a suggestion rather than a necessity, you know the struggle. But this freeze-dried topper finally earned his paw of approval. The package felt surprisingly light, even for a freeze-dried product. But once opened, I was happy to see it was full of generously sized nuggets. Knowing my pup, I couldn’t just drop a whole nugget on top of his kibble as he’d eat that and leave the rest untouched. Thankfully, these nuggets are incredibly easy to crumble. I broke up two nuggets into small bits and sprinkled them over his bowl. He sniffed and I held my breath... he devoured the whole thing with a clean bowl in record time! No more sore fingers from crushing other dog treats as toppers as this one crumbles like a dream and it works like a dream too! ✅ Highlights: Picky-dog approved — a rare win! This dog food changed our lives in a profound way. I rescued a dog that I'm certain was fed people food. I have tried EVERYTHING when it comes to dog food- raw food, 3 different types of kibble including this brands kibble, wet food, another freeze dried topper, hamburger as a topper, and she showed no interest. She'd go days without eating which was stressing me out as much as my bank account as I continued to waste money on food that was being thrown out. I purchased this and started using it as a topper to the Stella & Chewy's dry kibble and SUCCESS! She does require I put 3 to 4 pellets on top, but she's eating ALL her kibble now. Needless to say, I'll be subscribing to receive this topper regularly. I'm so relieved that my little picky eater and unmotivated by food girl is finally eating.

My dog LOVES these. Great for training time and keeping him engaged on walks. He also gets nervous when we are out of town and he is being watched by the dogsitter to the point he will stop eating. I have her sprinkle a few of these on top and it gets him back on schedule.

I didn't know much about this product when I bought it. The directions on the bag are in very small print and do not give much information. So I wasn't sure how to use the product. The information on the Amazon website is very clear and helpful. So once I figured out how to use the product, I really liked it. It has kind of a "marshmallow" texture to it. I gave my German Shepherd one, just for a treat to see if she liked it and she did. I added about half the bag to her dinner and the other half to her lunch the next day. She gobbled it up! There is also a coupon for $2 on the bag you can clip.

One of my dogs has a chicken allergy, and other suspected food allergies, so finding treats that don't make her sick has been a challenge. She LOVES the salmon meal mixers. I will give her a couple as a treat, and will also use it as a topper occasionally. She is prone to regurgitation if she eats too much at once, due to megaesophagus, so I do have to be careful about the amount she gets at one time. My other dogs are very curious (and jealous 😂), so I plan to get them the turkey or beef products from this company.

Excellent product, I have 4 large dogs and I wish the companies that make this product would think of dogs come all sizes. We have 3 dogs that are over 60lbs. The $44 size only lasts week! Please help , our 3 dogs are standard size goldendoodles! They really dislike kibble!

These saved my dog's life, and no I'm not exaggerating. My dog has a complicated past and came to me starved almost to the point of death, and at times these were the only thing we could get him to eat. Without them I'm not sure he would have made it. Several years later now he eats a well rounded variety of foods, but the Stella & Chewy's meal mixers are still his most favorite topper and treat. We'll never stop buying these.
