I have a nylon-string classical guitar and a Peavey EVH Wolfgang electric guitar, so I ordered two of these to hang them up on my wall. They're well made, the wood finish is nice, and they come with all you need to mount them. You don't even need a drill. The screws themselves can just be pushed and screwed into the wall, even if you're screwing into a stud. The idea is that you screw the screw in, and if you don't feel it biting into wood after half an inch or so, you pretty much know you need to remove the screw and use one of the drywall anchor plugs that come with this unit. The plugs have a pilot 'bayonet' which you tap into the hole left by the screw with a hammer or something (not that much force is required though), then use a philips head screwdriver to screw in the anchor plug. My first bracket required one drywall anchor because I missed the stud (I don't have any kind of electronic stud-finder, so I was limited to just knocking all over the wall to figure out stud location). It worked fine with the drywall anchor. The second bracket I was smarter and found a vertical stud. Both guitar brackets mounted really solidly and give me a lot of confidence that they'll hold up well. For the classical guitar, the neck did fit the bracket but it was a bit too tight a fit to easily hang/remove the guitar, so I bruteforced the arms open about 1/8th of an inch, and that really did the trick, the guitar is securely hung but I can easily lift and remove it from the hooks without undue rubbing on the neck. Overall, my room looks fantastic with these guitars hung on the wall, I love the way it hangs the guitars out from the wall slightly - my electric guitar is about 3" off the wall, and the classical having a hollow body is about 2.3" away from the wall, which prevents any kind of rubbing against the wall. I can't fault these brackets at all, they were cost-effective and the wood block looks good, and I loved the way the included fixtures didn't require any drilling. This is American-made at its best.

The standard (or should be) when it comes to instrument holders. This is my fourth one of various sizes, and the quality is just as good as it's always been. Super easy to install with EVERYTHING IN THE PACKAGE. Fits every guitar I've tried, and looks good doing it.

Should have bought these years ago. Secured these right into studs and these babies aren't going anywhere. They look great, we're super easy to install, just two screws in the wall and attaching the actual piece that holds the guitar, and just very sturdy and puts my mind at ease leaving my instruments hanging. I was also worried about this fitting my 5-string but it slides in and out just as easy as the guitar, and I also love the way these hangers cradle the neck/head. Overall amazing, will buy more if needed and recommending them to any and all.

I bought eleven of these in order to hang a bunch of my guitars and I found them to be extremely simple and quick to install. The included anchors work perfectly and went in without issue, leaving the String Swing solidly connected to the wall. If you are hanging a lot of guitars, making two rows (one high and one low) seems to be the best option. I spaced the hangers eighteen inches apart and the guitars I put up look nice and have a good, tight spacing. I uploaded two pictures of my wall after I had installed nine of the hangers and I couldn't be more pleased with the look... the pictures are uploaded on this product page. I have put up the other two hangers since I uploaded the pictures, so I will have to do new pictures, but the ones that I put up will give you a good representation of the look you will get with these. The easiest way to hang a lot of these is to use a laser level such as the Black & Decker BDL100AV All-In-One SureGrip Laser Level and a long cloth tape measure that you can tack to the wall. I just went down the wall making dots directly on the line, drilled quick pilot holes and nine of the string swings were installed in about 20 - 30 minutes. I think that this is the quickest and easiest way to get a professional-looking installation. As far as the performance of the hangers goes, what is there to say? The included anchors are big enough to keep the wooden backplate securely fastened to the wall and the hanger screws into a metal receptacle in the middle of it. As long as you make sure that you tighten the hanger properly, you will be in good shape. I DO NOT, however, recommend buying the , as they are complete garbage and fall off the wall almost immediately. EDIT: I put the other hangers up now and did NOT drill pilot holes. The anchors are made in such a way as to be nailed into the wall without using a pilot hole. Just mark the positions, use a hammer to nail the anchors up to the screw portion, then screw them in. It took about 1 minute to put a new hanger up, but this was partially due to the fact that I was able to use a level and put it against the bottom of the other hangers to get the line. At any rate, you do not need to drill pilot holes; just nail and go!

Great product and easy to install. I love the price, the entire purchase process through amazon, and the product is holding up my heavy jackson electric guitar and an acoustic classical. They are far enough to not touch the wall and look great up on there. The only con I have was the anchors that came with the product, I chose to use my own because the one that came with it broke while trying to screw it into the wall. I had purchased 2, one was on a wooden stud in my home which didn't require an anchor and it holds up my electric perfectly, however the other that did not go onto a stud, I needed to use my own anchor not the one that comes with it. Other than that, great. Nice color wood, a little finish on the front face, nice rubber padding for where the guitar lays on. Good luck.

Attractive and very easy to assemble wall-mounted guitar stand. Seems very sturdy and the cradle is well designed to hold the guitar securely. Relatively inexpensive and a much safer than the usual floor-stands I have used previously (that take up more room and guitar is more prone to getting knocked). I used some metal screw-in wall plugs for mine, but I'm sure the plastic ones that come with the stand would work just fine too. Highly recommended.

I bought two of these to display my roommates guitars on our living room wall. They look great, they are sturdy, strong and gentle on the guitars. They come with two small circular rubber rings that you can slide onto the arms to keep the guitars even more snuggly sitting. They are a fairly good price for someone on a budget. Im glad I bought these ones and not a cheaper product. I would certainly recommend this product to the at home music lover. They are also easy to mount on the wall with just a screw driver, the wall plugs are included. (My first time using wall plugs - who knew it was so simple) If you are on a budget and looking for an appealing and quality product. This is it. UPDATE : I purchased this product again for our growing collection. The second time, the product did not come with the little rubber rings and one of the two plugs broke as I tried to put it up. Im not sure why or what changed and I hope it was just a fluke but the quality the second time as compared to my first order had seriously diminished. The price had also increased by almost 10 dollars.
