This is a solid product, sleek looking and functional. I have 5 guitars mounted easily on one stand; recommend. The holes are not predrilled - but that is a good thing because you need to take care when aligning the 48” mount plate with the 16” on center (depending on your builder) to hit all 4 studs. It’s doable, I mounted two of them and I have a third one on the way. Amazon fulfillment diatribe: the third one actually arrived today, I was hoping to install it but it was the wrong color again so I returned it. Awaiting a replacement (this happened twice now from Amazon fulfillment, I ordered black and they have sent me white).

Replaced 3 individual hangers with this. The space gained is great! Looks great! Works great! Went from 3 guitars side by side to 5 guitars. Feels sturdy and looks good... This is plenty doable by yourself with some light duty double sided tape in place of a helper. I leveled and mounted just one side then added the right side (in my case, go crazy, go right then left!). Once I positioned the first piece and drilled the mounting holes, I removed it and took the tape off then re-attached it. Get yourself some light duty two-sided tape and be creative. Fun little project that ends up with great results when done right. The end caps are a bit "cheesy" in my opinion and I left them off after doing a test run. They have a hole that was probably there for hanging during the powder coat process but seriously make the end result look cheap. Open ends look fine. Everything about all the pieces provided is all about keeping costs down. The important parts, the hangers, are done nicely and are sturdy. Bottom line...mount two chunks of powder coated extruded aluminum to your wall and hang five of your favorite guitars and be very happy.

I’m very impressed on how much better this looks than just the single wall hangers. It takes up much less space. Not just on the floor using stands, but you get more guitars in a smaller area due to slats and the pivoting head. I have two gripes. The little piece of metal that is supposed to align and join the slats together, didn’t. Would be helpful to have some set screws to make the connection more secure. This comes into play when marking and leveling. Especially when you are trying to do this high on a latter. The second gripe isn’t really a problem just something I will do differently next time. The self start screws work fine, I’ll just pre drill the holes next time. I imagine it was done like this due to not everyone having drill bits. Great product and I’m going to buy another right after this.

I'm pretty impressed with the quality of this item. Between the included self drilling screws and the screw guides to help with driving, installation was a breeze. Feels super stable and is easy to use and adjust, totally worth the money.

What's the deal with the no-holes? Thought I would put a few skrews in the wall and ready to go... But no, have to drill extra holes in the metal... Why? Would it be such a big thing to do it by fabrication? I lost plenty of time on a free day and it doesn't even hang on my wall. Thanks for the additional expenditure... otherwise for nothing!

A bit pricey and little challenging to install, but not too bad. I like the flexibility of being able to angle the guitars to improve space. Feels solid once I installed it properly, LOL.

Installation went smoothly with hardware provided, but instructions could have been better (tiny font size barely readable). Also, the plastic guides for drilling mounting holes did not work with stated drill bit size. A smaller bit was required to fit through the guide. Once installed it works quite nicely. Certainly very sturdy when you mount it to the wall studs.
