These mosquito dunks were a godsend! We recently bought a 2-acre property requiring indoor and outdoor renovations and some old concrete multi-tiered bird baths were left behind. They were so full of stagnant standing water and leaf litter that hundreds of mosquito larvae were visibly squirming about adjacent to our driveway. Within just a few hours, I already saw results and within 24-48 hours, ultimate effectiveness had been obtained. Now I’m able to immediately clean out the fountain bowls without releasing hundreds of almost mosquitos into the flowerbed. I didn’t notice any sort of detectable odor and my dogs did not seem interested in investigating these dunks once I had them placed. One of the clear covers arrived loose along the cardboard edge, so some of the dust had spilled out and escaped, but I’ve been so impressed with the results that I’d definitely purchase them again!

$2-3 cheaper than in box stores, these dunks are good for ponding water and swampy areas around the garden. Best if monitored for water level below a roof overhang, you don't want rain water to overfill your dunk container when possible. Dunks can be placed in a small bucket or coffee can; drill overflow holes 3-4" from top of container to prevent losing your dunk. Break them in half for smaller containers around the yard. Don't forget to re-supply dunks after a while or you will be helping -not killing- the mosquito population.

I’ve been having issues with small flies in my house plants and putting these in your plant water really does help!!!! I have been trying everything possible and was losing my mind because my plants are my friends and I was very upset about it trying everything I possibly could… then I read about these and they work wonders ! For real!! They protect plants ! Pretty fast too.. I water my plants once a week and after two weeks I haven’t noticed anymore pests… they don’t have a smell the I notice … size works great I did have to break em apart which was easy because I use a water jug

It was suggestedc by Vectoor Control to try these. they leave a film on top of the water--just toss it in. Safe for animals who drink the water. Of course you would still want to clear out the water, but these can give you extra time.

Purchased to protect indoor plants from fungus gnats. So far so good. Dunks were easy to crumble into my watering can, and I got to watering after the bti steeped for a while. But packaging could be improved. There are perforations to remove the dunks, but I needed my exacto to remove half of them.

We have a small water feature in our garden, so for the second year I am adding one of these periodically. They certainly do seem to keep the mosquito population under control. My only quibble would be the claim that one lasts for “30 days or more.” They absorb water and presently begin to break apart. Perhaps the active ingredient remains in the water even after that? Don’t really know, so once the dunk is entirely reduced to just floating debris, I scoop that out and add another. That means the six-piece card doesn’t equal a six-month supply. Possibly this is just my misunderstanding, however.

Disuelvo una cuarta parte del círculo en una botella de 5 litros de agua destilada, dejo reposar unos tres días y riego las plantas de interior ( monstera, calathea, maranta, scindapsus pictus, alocasia, pilea, begonia, pothus, zz plant, sansevieria y philodendro), no erradica totalmente las mosquitas típicas de la tierra húmeda, pero si que reduce considerablemente la población.

Perfecto para lo que toca. Lo utilice en un estanque de riego, donde había muchas larvas ya que el agua no se recambia demasiado. Ya no quedan larvas, el producto cumple las expectativas, una amarilla tiene un buen tamaño y alcanza para un mes. Muy contento con la compra.
