I work in an Occupational Therapy Pediatric clinic and this was a great addition to our collection! It works on many things like fine motor, color sorting, shape sorting, color discernment, turn-taking, you name it! If you get creative with it, you can use it in many different ways! I love all the colors that it comes with. The plastic feels top quality and i love the glow factor. It can be a choking hazard so watch out for that! Highly recommend to improve their skills!

The reason why one star was taken away is that after just one week of use, the corners of some of the cubes are coming off and it doesn't seem they will last very long. Other than that, they have a very good strong magnetic pull to each so they don't easily fall off or any other problem. Good to play with but they are very small to begin with, very little in quantity, and the quality doesn't seem to be lasting. Each cube has TOSY written on each side.

Click to play video I was able to try Tosy's Magnetic Pyramid (their version of the Shashibo that's better than the original) and loved it. I didn't know what Tosy would do for an encore, but they have another hit on their hands with this one. The concept of this toy is simple; it's just magnetic cubes. Like their Magnetic Pyramid, the tiny neodymium magnets are securely sealed within the plastic cube and aren't able to be removed or swallowed. The cube itself is reminiscent of a Rubik's cube, except that all the cubes come apart so it's not really an extremely challenging puzzle, more like a very lightly challenging fidget toy. The cubes snap together with an oh-so-satisfying "click" sound, and the colors on the cube glow beautifully when you shine natural light or the included UV light on it. In addition to a puzzle toy and a fidget toy, you can use it as a building toy. It comes with a full color manual with suggestions on how to build things, both with the two sets of 8 that you get in this bundle, as well as if you're lucky enough to buy more. You can build designs that are reminiscent of Minecraft pixel art, or you can build structures like blocks. They're even strong enough to use as refrigerator magnets, if you're so inclined. It's a bit odd, but I couldn't find the country of origin listed on the box or on the product page, but based on research I did on other sites, this appears to be made in Vietnam just like their Magnetic Pyramid is (Tosy is based in Vietnam as well). The quality and craftsmanship are excellent and solidly built, far better than cheap magnet cubes I've gotten in the past. As much as I loved the magnetic pyramid, I love these even more. I foresee many, many hours of satisfying clicking and building. It's one of the most versatile and fun toys you'll come across, and it's a great way to teach kids about magnetism. This one gets my top recommendation.

I'm always on the look out for a new type of toy my kids might like. I wasn't sure what to expect from this 2 pack set of 2x2x2 magnet blocks that glow. At first, my kids were curious about it and spent some time playing with it. But, they quickly lost interest in them. I think the main issues is that there are not enough blocks to begin with. You need a lot more to build things with them. The magnets work well and are strong enough to build things with them. The blocks will glow temporarily if you shine the UV light on them, but not for very long. The fact that the brand name is printed on each side is a bit annoying. The price is a bit high for what you get.

This has really been the goto fidget in the house. While watching TV, homework or reading it has been super fun to have. I would recommend this to anyone that I know who likes to mess around with something while concentrating. We've acquired quick a few and I love watching the kids come up with different combinations. The magnets are perfectly strong and the click clacking sound it satisfying.

This is a review for: TOSY Magnet Cube 2x2 - 64 Magnets, 8 Building Blocks, 2 in 1 Toy: 2x2x2 Puzzle Cube and Customizable Infinity Cube, Glowing, UV Flashlight Accessory, Fidget/STEAM Toy, Easter Birthday Gift, 2-Pack These are fun little fidget toys, and nice for creative minds to play with. The magnets aren't super strong, but strong enough, and probably are safer for young kids than the very strong magnet toys. These seem well-constructed and sturdy for their very light weight, but you can hear a little bit of rattle inside for some reason. Glow in the dark and activating keychain flashlight was a nice bonus. Obviously 2x2 + 2x2 isn't enough to make a 3x3 cube. So you will always wish to have more pieces to play with.
