Originally I had gotten these for my office. I'm a systems administrator and work with lots of developers and engineers. Ive found that if I leave things like these on my desk someone will undoubtably swing by my office and Ill find something unique has been done with the various fidget toys. Also, they're good to keep your hands busy so there's that. However, what has happened is one of the two sets made it to my office and the other set has stayed behind at my home for my kids to play with. Initially 1 set went to my son and 1 went to my daughter but it only took a day or so before I found that neither were paying much attention to them. These have become a bit what I expected and not a regular toy, but a fidget toy. IE, they keep your hands busy but nothing I expect my kids to spend hours on. Play time: Both my kids really liked these out of the box. The instruction manual is very thick and provides a lot of ideas for things to build. My daughter went right to building a sword which is now sitting on her toy chest. Meaning, she's not playing with it. My son built the largest Rubiks cube type thing he could and it went to the computer room where he fidget'd with it on and off in between gaming sessions. Thats actually also where my wife and I would fidget with it as well, at least until I took it to work. Final thoughts: My daughter (6) really likes these and wanted more, and my wife was going to get them for her until she noticed the price. We received these as part of the Vine program for free and honestly, I would have no issue buying more of these, if they weren't so expensive. These are cool but hard to recommend at the price.

I will start out by saying the magnets are not as strong as I was anticipating but at the same time they are strong enough not to be annoying. It does take a little getting used to in order to build things but they are great fidget toys. We have them on our bar in the kitchen and everyone who sits there ends up playing with them. you can build all sorts of things. It comes with a big book of ideas but we just build off the cuff. we have had a few drop and a little bit of the corder plastic has broken but the magnets are still in place. I was expecting stronger magnets but I think the strength is a good balance so that things stay together but are not super hard to get apart either. So anyone at any age could enjoy these. The price is high but are very fun for all ages.

These are fun and I definitely enjoy messing with them. The box included an idea book or guide which has been helpful for inspiration. They are well made and clearly durable. My largest negative is the cost. I feel for the value and entertainment they provide they are incredibly overpriced. I think selling them in a pair is part of what makes the price point so unattractive to me. There are other desk toy that are comparable for lower price points. The fun factor of this toy isn't hard to see or find but the price is pretty high.

These magnet cubes are awesome! The box is a little confusing, so my first picture shows what is included in the KIT. The KIT comes with 2 boxes. Each box includes 1 3x3 cube(27 individual), 1 UV flashlight, 1 "game dice" and 2 magnetic spinners. So, all together in the KIT you get 2 3x3 cubes(54 individual), 2 magnetic "game dice", 2 UV flashlights and 4 magnetic spinners. Each box also comes with a pamphlet from TOSY and a book of ideas on different things you can make. They are a bit smaller than I was expecting, only about a half inch. The magnets are pretty strong for how small they are. They stick together pretty well! The UV flashlight works great and really makes the cubes glow quickly! My kids absolutely love these. And I do too! I have actually already ordered a second kit. The only "issue" we have had is that the print on the "game dice" rubs right off of the metallic sticker it's on (pictured). That really isn't an issue for us because none of us really care for the "game" anyways. It's meant to be like Tetris in a way but we have more fun just building so it's just another cube for us. Overall, I would definitely recommend if you like fidget toys or if you have kids that love building. They are a lot of fun and keep your hands busy!

I'm giving this four stars because I think I would only spend about $15 on this although I'm sure the quality magnets are costly. They are strong enough to stay together, but not strong enough to pinch fingers when they connect. This hasn't been a WOW game, but is something people will pick up when they pass it or if it is within arm's reach when they see it. It falls into the category of "great during television watching" sort of fidget toy. I also will pick it up while I have few minutes in the kitchen when cooking. Each of the 30 blocks come apart so you can turn quite a few at the same time or take them apart and add one at a time. Each block has the same colors except one that has what looks like Tetris symbols which we use to copy as you can see in my photo. The book has lots of pictures to duplicate but not enough blocks with both boxes to duplicate some of the pictures.. If the price wasn't so high, I would highly recommend it. Some children might really love it and it might be worth the price for them.

My family LOVES these little cubes! We have multiple sets now and they love building all sorts of things with them. I love that they are small which makes them easy to store. We will definitely keep expanding on our set!
