How beautiful and clever its design. My kids create many styles and shapes with it. Love it.

This was difficult to decide on a star rating. I didn't realize that I would recieve 2 sets, so that was a nice surprise (just because I didn't read the description fully). First off, I have 2 kids (9 yr female, 17 yr male) so I gave each one a set and told them to get back to me on their thoughts. Its Day 3 & they have both been quite entertained & are still playing with them multiple times a day. My son is on the autism spectrum & loves fidget toys, but very few have kept him entertained like this one. I think mainly because there are so many ways to play with it. There are 16 separate cubes per set and they are magnetic in multiple places, so you can click them together side by side, sure, BUT you can also connect them corner to corner (think like an 'X') which is unlike most magnetic cubes I've seen. They also make a pleasing clicking sound when connecting. The reason for the 1 star deduction is because this is advertised as a fidget spinner. And, although it comes with a magnetic spinner base, the blocks immediately whirl off in all directions the moment you start to spin it. It doesn't matter if there is 1 or 4 at each connection point: the spinner just does not have enough strength to keep any of the blocks attached while spinning. But it's a fun toy regardless & still worth the price as a set of 2.

This is a really neat fidget toy - it reminds me of a Rubik’s cube but the cubes aren’t fixed in place, so you can shape it however you want. The description says you can create over 10,000 different shapes from the 17 blocks included but this set was a two pack so with 34 blocks instead of 17, the shape possibilities increase exponentially, like hundreds of thousands, if not more! I’ve caught myself playing with it too, snapping the cubes together in different shapes. The gentle snap of the cubes has a relaxing, almost meditative feel. My husband attached it to a magnetic board and put the cubes into a smiley face. Now when we turn out the lights at night, that glowing smiley face keeps us company. The glowing effect is a fun bonus, great as a desk toy, or just a creative way to unwind. I ordered this because my kids love fidget toys and I couldn't for the life of me figure out what this was supposed to be from the description. A spinner, but magnetic? And glow-in-the-dark? It arrived quickly, and it's... fine. Limited interest, ok execution. For those who, like me, lack imagination, here's what this is: You get a bunch of magnetic cubes whose surfaces are covered in glow-in-the-dark stickers. These cubes can (by virtue of their magnetic properties) be attached to a spinning base and to one another. That means you can use them as building cubes (without the spinner) or stick them on the base to make spinners of different shapes. All in all a neat idea, and the kids like it well enough. However, I wouldn't go for this as a gift; it's just not THAT well executed. Here are some specific comments: - The glow-in-the-dark feature is neat. We have a stronger UV light than what was included, and that can make them light up quite impressively. The included light is pretty weak. - Magnetic building blocks are of course also neat, but there are too few here to really make much of it. - The blocks are pretty big and don't hold together well enough to make a really good spinner; if you spin too fast, things will fall apart. - The spinner is also not going all that smoothly (even without the blocks attached to it). So... if you're looking for a great fidget spinner, this is not it. If you're looking for a set of magnetic building blocks, this is not it. This is trying to be both, and kind of neat for that, but ultimately mediocre at both. Also came in rather banged-up boxes, so that's another argument against giving these as gifts.

This buildable fidget toy spins extremely well and is equally fun and relaxing to build as it is to play with and spin once it is built. Individual blocks allow you to customize the look and feel and the addition of another set allows even more options and expandability!

At first, this fidget toy seemed really cool—my college-aged daughter was excited to try it and loves the concept. It’s entertaining and fun to play with, but unfortunately, the execution is a total failure. 🚨 MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE: The tiny silver ball magnets on the corners keep falling out after just a couple of weeks of use. These magnets are shockingly strong for their size, and if swallowed, they could cause severe internal injuries. This toy should absolutely NOT be listed for ages 6 and up. If you have children or pets in your home, DO NOT BUY THIS. The risk is simply not worth it. 🛑 Other Major Issues: * Flimsy Build Quality – It sheds tiny black plastic crumbs all over whatever surface you use it on. * Lettering Wears Off – The silver letters on the stickers started fading after minimal use. * Disappointing Glow Feature – You have to hold the included light directly to the stickers, and the glow only lasts a few seconds before fading. It’s more of a novelty than an actual feature. One of the two included lights was also a dud and didn’t work at all. * Not Durable for Regular Fidgeting – A fidget toy is meant to be played with frequently, yet this one started falling apart almost immediately. The only reason this gets 2 stars is that the idea itself is fun, and if it were better made, it could be a great toy. But the safety risks and cheap quality outweigh the entertainment value. DO NOT BUY for any child or home with pets!
