Clear 2K video, easy setup, and works great with Alexa. Love the motion alerts and 2-way audio. Perfect as a baby or pet cam—great value!

These Tapo cameras are great. The 2k resolution is excellent, and the motion detection works well. And most importantly, their WiFi connectivity is rock solid. They're easy to set up, configure, and the app is pretty good as apps go. The only odd thing is they have their own power adapter instead of using USB. Not a big deal, but something to know when you're putting them around the house. I have 12 of them in various spots around the house and outside. They're not outdoor cameras, but they seem fine as long as they're not directly in the weather. For the price they can't be beat.

These tapo cameras are pretty great for the price. I waited for a sale and got them at an even better price (the prices of these things fluctuate so much). They're definitely worth it, especially if you can snag them on sale like I did. The AI pet detection is really cool - my dog likes to run around in the backyard and sometimes jump on the fence, but this camera caught every instance without any issues. It even sent me a notification when he started barking at a squirrel once (I guess that's considered a threat). The video quality is pretty good too - I can see everything clearly, even at night with the night vision. The two-way audio works well enough if you need to tell your pet or child to calm down from another room. It took me a little while to set up the cameras, but once I got them connected to my Wi-Fi and Alexa (which was easy), everything worked smoothly. My only complaint is that the app can be a bit buggy sometimes, but it's not too bad.

Replacing some Reolink E1 Zoom cameras that just can't seem to start operational for more than a few seconds. So far this camera has been great in terms of actually providing an operational video stream. Even works in BlueIris with a little bit of setup and knowledge (use port 2020 for discovery). I paid $15 per device on sale which is an amazing price for something that works in BlueIris. The main downsides are limited configuration and picture quality. I get a lot of bloom from light sources in color mode and the overall picture is over exposed to the point where I'm losing details. I also need to configure the cut over to IR mode because some light sources prevent it from happening when it should. Would be great if I could adjust settings to help with that. As a result, the app is limited and actually quite annoying to use... it bombards me with unnecessary guide/tutorial dialogs and ads for their paid services during setup. Glad I don't have to use it after I get it running in Blue Iris. Here are the high level details compared to my E1 Zoom it is replacing: Pros - Works on modern wifi systems pretty well - Seems pretty stable so far - Price (on sale at $15/per device this is a no brainer) Cons: - Picture quality - Limited configuration - App is annoying

I’ll be writing this on all the Tapo cameras I’ve recently purchased. (4x C110, 2x C210, 2x C520WS) These are flawless, amazing, and so far ahead of Wyze it’s not even funny. They are massively affordable, truly need no subscription, have fantastic features in their app, can record locally to an SD card; everything you would want. Coming from Wyze (see more below), I didn’t know that cameras were supposed to act like this. I assumed, at Wyze prices, that I was getting what I paid for. But when I finally had enough constant stress and spent the money to change to Tapo… my life has been changed. Seriously, I probably added years to my life not being so stressed out all the time because my cameras never, ever worked right. These do, and I cannot say it enough times… if you’re currently using Wyze then get one of these. Use it for a week side-by-side and tell me what you think. Super light, have a few of mine mounted with ‘hard plastic velcro’ (3M Dual Lock). Setup is fast and easy, and works right away. Don’t have to do it over and over again (Wyze). Clarity is superb - 1440p quality. Night vision is phenomenal. Don’t really care about ‘color’ night vision - but my outdoor ones do have it. And one of the best parts is Tapo is part of TP-Link. What does that mean? TP-Link has been around for a very long time, and they specialize in networking equipment, LoL. So yeah, if you want a reliable camera on your network, who better to trust than a networking company. TLDR: Don’t waste your time on any other brand. Buy these. I promise you won’t regret it. About Wyze: If you’re like me and never wanted to spend thousands on home monitoring and security, then you may have stumbled upon Wyze cameras. At first, they were amazing - very affordable with no subscription necessary. And they worked. Over time, that changed drastically as they ventured into making everything else on the planet instead of focusing on their roots (cameras). They funded that stuff by changing to a subscription policy. And in their haste had multiple security breaches and problems such as other people viewing cameras that aren’t theirs. This is of course while the software and hardware has become so incredibly bad that they’re unusable. I mean, they actually do not function 92% of the time. Whether it’s freezing, not connecting, stuttering so bad that it looks like a PowerPoint presentation, app for closing, etc.

I'll give it 5 stars because it deserves more than 4. Easy set up, video quality is excellent, excellent for the price. Waaaaay better than Blink. The cons are propriety power cord, not USB C like more expensive Tapo cams. The cord is long too. Also if you are going to force a propriety power cord and the plug in is on the bottom of the camera body, why not make it a right angle plug? Very satisfied with every Tapo cam I've purchased so far. App and UI is also head and shoulders above Blink and Wyze.

Purchased single units previously all had Australian plugs, the price was quoted in AUD for this 4 pack so i made the assumption that Aussie plugs were fitted, Cameras are great but the plug issue is a bit of an inconvenience

Great camera for my baby’s room. It notifies me when he’s awake, moving, crying or if someone is in the room with him. It’s super simple to use and the price is great!
