I love these stainless steel hoses. They never kink so the water always flows freely. They’re not as heavy as you might think so weight is not an issue, especially when you know you can just drop the coil on the ground and pull it out without it getting stuck. Surprisingly, the hose does not get hot when sitting out in the sun.

I've tried a few stainless hoses and, while they delivered with regard to ease of use, they failed when it came to either build quality or performance (water delivery flow). This one has been a winner so far in both categories. The weakest link in a SS hose tends to be the ends. It's critical that they are made well since, unlike a conventional hose, if it breaks you can't repair it. This has good quality brass end surrounds that are nice and solid. It makes for a more durable design than the usual plastic surrounds. The connectors are also well-machined. I've had zero leakage. The flow rate is much better than the usual SS hose. While it still is less than a conventional 5/8 inch hose, the flow rate is more than fine for most tasks. I use this mostly for garden watering, and the time it takes to put down the water that is needed is only slightly greater than when I use a 5/8 hose. You can't beat a SS hose for preventing kinks, ease of handling, and abrasion resistance. It's perfect for my needs since I'm always pulling the hose over brick retaining walls. Conventional hoses always would get hung up or get abraded, but the SS hose just glides through smooth as can be. An excellent value for the price, and the best SS hose I've come across so far. Five stars.

I was hesitant to try a new hose. However so sick of dragging that heavy hose around that only kept getting stuck on things. I've seen the spring style and honestly I feel those would be torture to use. Seeing this hose i thought it was an interesting design. However, doubted it would be that great. I bought a 50' last year. We actually never got to using it. Left out coiled up over the winter. I suspected it would be all rusty from leaving out in elements. No damage at all. Finally getting a chance to use it I fell in love! Of course hubby wanted no part of it, he likes his traditional hose so it was a battle of the waterers. After using mine for just a short few weeks I was so happy I ordered another for my other side yard. It is so light weight I love it! The flexibility is such a major plus, no more wrenching my wrist to get my hose to do what I want it to. When hubby saw I purchased a second one he didn't look happy. I told him no worry, it's MY hose! He kept detaching it so he could use his old hose. He used it once, fussed and complained the length was too long. Three days later is see him out in the way back yard watering veggies with it! He hasn't stopped using it since. Amazing product.

Have had product for a couple years now, holding up great. Not as strong material as I thought, had run over it with my car and product is now flattened in a couple places but works just fine. Does not kink, lightweight. Product is exactly as pictured, color is true to photo. Pretty good value for the money just wish I didn't flatten it with my car accidently.

I have tried many lightweight hoses in the past. All have burst or broken. This hose seems to be ideal. It is in case in metal but very lightweight. It attaches easily and does not leak. Thank you.

Update: Two years later, I was very disappointed...the female end of this hose, which was spraying water pretty liberally from around the connection this spring, finally parted entirely. Turns out the plastic piece threaded to the connector is just a strain relief, and prevents bending forces on the connection. That's good. But there was nothing to physically hold the hose to the connector but a crimp, I guess, which was no longer crimped. It was out of warranty, but I thought the company would want to know of what appears to be inferior engineering. I contacted the company with no thought other than to make them aware of a product shortcoming. I explained the issue, sent some pictures and video to illustrate the problem, and lo and behold they gracefully replaced the hose. How's that for customer service? This new edition has no plastic any longer, and is now all anodized aluminum. A far better engineered product in other ways too. The only difficulty now is the male threaded connector is too short to mate properly with the female end of my sprayer. A second washer in the sprayer solved that problem in a hearbeat. ******** What a fabulous hose. I love that it indeed doesn't kink, is almost indestructible, and doesn't swell up to hold lots of water when the spigot is turned off. Just a minor spit of water comes out when turned off. Looks wonderful too.

I’ve got 5 of the 50’ hoses. All look and perform well. Very easy to roll up. I had a minor issue that customer support addressed promptly and to my satisfaction. I will buy again and recommend, you won’t be disappointed. I’ll never buy the old style hose again.

I love how this hose is light weight and never kinks, but the durability leaves a lot to be desired. Unfortunately after less than a year the metal tubing has become detached from the nozzle and now it leaks like crazy. For this price I expected better quality. UPDATE: I contacted the company via their website and fortunately the hose was still under warranty. They quickly sent me a replacement. Bumping my rating to 4 stars while I see how this new one holds up.
