This telescope is easily transportable and durable when traveling. The telescope is great for going out in the desert and stargazing. Assembly was super easy and quick, and it was just as easy to pack it back up. With this being a large telescope, it did not take up a lot of room. The visual quality was better than I had with other telescopes I've used. A beginner can use this and learn a lot, but also a person experienced in astronomy will find this a good personal telescope. The company had the telescope arrive when it was promised and was easy to do business with.

This is our first telescope as a beginner, my daughter and I put it together the installation is quick and easy! The quality of the scope is amazing! The photo I posted is what we saw and it’s right to say it looks amazing. The photo is 100% mins after I adjusted some light. Besides the moon, we were able to see Jupiter and Saturn. If you’re looking into getting a beginner scope then I say this is the one for you!

This telescope Is good quality and nice size. Got very good pictures when I adapted the scope to my phone. All works good except getting it to stay still was the hard part. But overall good telescope.

I received this as a Christmas present and it’s PERFECT! I’ve always been interested in astronomy, which my wife knew, and she gifted me this as a surprise. It’s easy to assemble and comes in a very nice nylon carry case. Can’t wait to use as soon as weather cooperates.

As a newbie to stargazing, I found this telescope extremely frustrating to use. I'll keep it simple. - Telescope mounting: Wiggles way too much, easy to lose target. You have a knob with a screw that holds the telescope to the tripod, but even when I use all my might to hand tighten as far as I can, the telescope still wiggles up to 1/8 inch or so, which may not seem like much, but that star or distant planet you're trying to focus on? Gone. Solution: Channel locks/crescent wrench. Was able to stop the wiggle/wobble afterwards. - Vertical tightening knob: My main frustration. Once locked in on a star/planet, prepare to fight the telescope from moving when tightening this knob. It wants to move your telescope as you tighten it. That hard earned planet you're trying to lock on to? Buh bye. And even if you get locked on and fully hand tightened, the weight of the telescope seems to slowly drift downwards. I'm not sure if I have just bad screw treads or what, but it is frustrating. - Horizontal knob: works decent, no weight is fighting you here so hand tightening seems to be all that's needed. - Tripod height: Very short, prepare to be on your knees a lot. Don't have my tape measure handy, but seems to be around 48-50ish inches (3ft, just above waist high for average height). - Little scope to target what you want to focus on: Same with previous knobs, the screws don't hold it tight, expect a lot of wobble and wiggle. Screws aren't meant for a screwdriver, hand tighten only. Which lies their problem. The mount piece will wiggle out of position, thus making it pretty redundant unless you don't touch it at all. I'm going to try to use something to get it past hand tightened. Adjusting the sight is pretty ridiculous considering that we're paying almost $200 for it. Three little screws you hand tighten to slowly position it where you want. Prepare to spend a bit of time fine tuning it. I don't know if I'm wrong, but I thought $180 telescope wouldn't be considered a cheap telescope, but this feels like a cheap telescope in every way except price.

Bought for my son as a gift we are a little nervous with it at first considering this was the second telescope (different brand) that we purchased, but it was actually great and extremely clear and even my daughter loves it, which makes it perfect for the whole family. Definitely worth buying.!! Quick and easy to assemble overall perfect for the price.

My partner and I are new to the astrology scene, and can I just say that we are absolutely chuffed to bits with this telescope. I originally bought it for my partner, whom has never used one before, and neither had I, so we are both completely out of our depth, however, we took it up to some hilltops last night and managed to capture some pretty good shots of the moon and with very little fuss or fiddling!! We are so fascinated with astrology now and hope to become amateurs soon! Great purchase, reasonable price, would definitely recommend.

Difficile à stabiliser (pas assez lourd, poignée plastique peu précise) et lentilles avec grossissement faible... on voit les planètes un peu plus grosses qu'à l'œil nu mais pas de détail supplémentaire réellement visible... déçu.

This is the first Telescope we ever got, bought for our kids. Its really easy to assembly and the kids loved it! Its good value for the money, very clear as well. Functional for what we needed and quality and stability seems good as well.

12x50 High Powered Monocular for Adults and Kids -Monocular for Hunting Wildlife Bird Watching …. The Monocular came boxed, other items included, a lanyard, a storage pouch and cleaning cloth. There are no instructions, or company information on the box other than the country of manufacture. The only identifying feature on the monocular is the name ‘EastPole’ fixed to the side of the focuser. I found it to be easy to hold, it has clear optics, a very smooth focuser that can easily be operated by your finger. On the underside is a ¼” thread for mounting on a tripod which also has a screw which attaches to the supplied lanyard. There are lens caps on both the lenses and the viewing lens has just over 9mm of travel on the eye-relief. The body appears to be in a rubber sleave, so easy to grip and won’t slide out of your hands. The major gripe about this monocular is the size of the objective lens, measuring at around 43mm at best, so I am not sure how they measure these to come up with 50mm! Regarding the lanyard, I’m not sure of its purpose, as you would hardly have this monocular dangling on the end of it! This is not a bad monocular at all, for this price (currently under £20 at time of review), you would normally get some plastic toy, but this is far from it. Ideal for casual bird watching, a bit of star gazing or general spotting.
