Getting the "Tell Me Your Life Story, Dad" for my dad has been one of the best gifts I’ve ever given him. Here’s why: A Thoughtful Keepsake: Although my dad isn’t much of a writer, I know he’s going to take his time filling out this book over the years. The prompts are thoughtful and make it easy for him to share his stories, memories, and experiences. This book is something I’ll cherish forever, and it’s comforting to know that I’ll have a piece of him to pass down through generations. Perfect for Any Dad: This journal is perfect for any father, whether he’s sentimental or not. The guided questions help draw out stories and memories that might otherwise go untold. Even if your dad isn’t the type to sit down and write, this book encourages him to reflect and share in a way that feels natural. Invaluable Memories: The value of this book goes far beyond the few bucks it costs. The memories and stories it will bring are priceless. I can already imagine looking back at it years from now and feeling a deep connection to my dad through his words. It’s a beautiful way to remember him and keep his legacy alive. Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for a meaningful gift for your dad, this journal is definitely worth considering. It’s not just a book—it’s a keepsake filled with memories that will last a lifetime. Whether your dad is a natural storyteller or someone who needs a little nudge, this book is a perfect way to capture his life and wisdom. Highly recommended!

I bought both this sage green PERFECT paperback; short, easy but thought provoking questioning journal for my father - and the matching blush pink journal for my mother. Both received 24 hours after ordering; good packaging. They are beautiful with a well bound spine. My dad is 82 and my mom is 80. I'm the sole surviving daughter at 59 years old. So I will treasure these books as my mom has dementia. Then will my 34-year-old daughter, whom I'll give it to in time, and she'll give it to their great-granddaughter, my 4-year-old granddaughter later. The questions are a lifetime of a wide array of easy to understand topics (good, esp with cognitive decline or memory loss). I'm thankful for the arrival on time for Christmas. May my parents be with me through the holiday. I'll treasure these. They're excellent paperback material; both in a beautiful mat finished color. My fathers is sage green (not boring brown or gray), and my mother's is the blush/mauve. I bought paperbacks yet thought I would prefer the hardcover BUT due to the mat cover material and large size, it gives an elegant and a more expensive look to the book. 200 questions are sufficient, if not too many for their ages. But thankful for that many questions. Lined paper for answers allows for a clean reply per page and makes it easy for the challenge of cognitive decline. It'll be a very sweet keepsake. At 59 with arthritis, I took a closed pen, acted like I was writing on it, opened the books wide at spine and it didn't collapse on my hands as "too heavy or difficult to see paperback" so it won't be too hard for the elderly. I know both my parents, particularly my father, will really enjoy writing out answers, taking a stroll down memory lane; which in itself is therapeutic for those who have dementia/alzheimer's, or cognitive/memory care issues. I STRONGLY suggest this book for parents of all ages, but esp senior or the elderly for Christmas, or any occasion! It will be a keepsake and a family heirloom for sure. Writing answers is exercise, especially with arthritic fingers and mind, brain, memory deficits; makes it an excellent idea! I'm extremely happy! You won't be dissatisfied. I wouldn't mind buying one for myself to leave to my loved ones. 💕 UDATE: My Dad loved his book and he's looking forward to filling it out and set himself on Christmas Day that he appreciated the leading questions. My mother has moderate to severe dementia and it did scare her, afraid she would not be able to recall but those leading questions again helped. And her caregiver and I can help her to answer, again the lined pages helps especially if she's losing her ability to write as easily and pretty as she once did. Please, be sure to get this for a loved one so they're life and legacy can live on in their own special story. 💞

Still waiting on the results and stories that the book prompts as he is a slow writer, but it made him cry and he tells me weekly how much he enjoys the book. Perfect keepsake.

This has been a surprise. It makes it possible to ask some questions you don’t think to ask. It’s inspiring to myself and family to be able to learn knew things about the other.

I got this book to do with my Dad after he was diagnosed with cancer and I realized I had so much I wanted to know still!!! I am forever grateful I had the opportunity to do this with my Dad before he die. We did it together. I asked the questions and wrote the answers. I do kind of wish some would be in his writing, but it helped facilitate many conversations-helped us resolve some things I didn’t know needed resolving, had some good laughs, and good reminiscing. Now I get to keep it forever! Not that old or facing a terminal illness? Get it now anyway! It goes through your life starting at birth so you can still start it now!

Love this book! Bought it for my husband as a gift & was pleasantly surprised. There's short questions & long questions, basic fun ones & more detailed personal ones. Very fun to fill out & interesting to learn little facts on your loved one! Fun bonding activity as well. We read the questions & answers aloud, great way to spend time together. Highly recommend!

I don't always leave reviews but this boom is actually decent . I've since ordered others (mum, grandma etc) makes a great present for a loved one ! And it's more a long term investment for me, I'm looking forward to reading back in 20years time from now for example. I'd say can get the book for yourself to hand down to children to read when they get older or as a gift. It just prompts questions you would love tomknow the awnsers but don't think to ask them questions. All in all good book

This might take a while to fill. My dad and I talk a few times a month as I am in another country but every time we talk I try to ask him questions from this book. It seems so nice

Bought this for my Dad at Christmas. He said it was a great present and was interesting. He liked that it asked questions he’s never thought about and thought it would be a great start for someone wanting to write an autobiography.
