Book came in great condition and has a lot of various prompts. I love how it asks questions from early childhood through adulthood, so the reader can learn so much about whom wrote in the book.

This is the best gift for a older grandma that has great grandkids and this lets you do this a activity together and helps with bonding

An excellent gift for the grandparents that wants to be known. They have so many experiences and stories that none ever thinks to bring up. And as a gift it really shows that you care about them and their life story, enough to want to have it on paper. The only challenge can be if they don't write so well because their hands are old. I got the grandpa version as well so with him I usually just grab it and ask a couple questions while I take notes into the book since he can't see well or hold a pen steady. The questions do a good job of bringing back fond memories without being to graphic or depressing. They both really seem to like it and the sentiment of making it so clear that their story mattered to someone younger means the world to an 80 year old.

Thought provoking questions. What a fun little something for future generations to have! My grand daughter gave me mine & I got one for my sister to share with her little ones.

This book has great prompts to encourage your loved one to recall and write down her memories and reflect on her life. My grandma is still writing in hers but flipping through what she wrote down so far I already have learned so much about her early childhood and experiences throughout her life before I was born. This book is a great gift for your loved one that shows you truly care about her story, but it’s also a wonderful gift to yourself and your family to have some of your grandma’s memories in her own words.

Gave this to the grandmas for Mother’s Day. I think it’s a great concept though it’s hard if you have multiple grandkids that would all want to have one (you would not want to fill out multiples). Overall the questions inside are good but there are some odd or personal ones. But of course those could just be skipped, no harm.

My grandmother was very appreciative when she received this book as a gift. The questions and writing prompts are very open-ended and result in a book that each family will cherish differently. This is am amazing idea and I will be looking forward to reading it as my grandmother completes it, asking her questions along the way to learn more about her life, and our ancestors.
