Looking forward to implementing a raised bed garden. Everything she points out makes so much sense for a healthy, pesticide free garden.I like that she offered bonus material when ordering book- the garden planner and gardenary videos where so helpful and great companion to book! I have been learning so many great tips! Don’t rotate crops- replant!!

I was hoping to get a book with actionable plans and ideas for how to set up and start gardening, and while there was some of that in this book, a lot of it simply scratched the surface. Then she would point you to her "Garden 365" course or suggest you get her gardening workbook. But what was really frustrating was that the information she did provide in the book was minimal at best. She would explain to plant large plants first, then surround them with medium-sized plants, then small plants. But what defines a "large plant"? She lists a few varieties, but are all types of cabbage, kale, etc. considered large? What is a fruiting crop? What makes celery a "medium plant"? There are links within the book, which normally I'd find useful, but they don't point to the information. For instance, one link said to use garlic spray to repel insects and linked to another section of the book - which said basically the same thing. I would have wanted a recipe or information about what a garlic spray is or how to make it, not just a repeat of "what to do." Gardening in 5 Minutes a day sounds like a great plan. And I do like the (vague) suggestions she has at the end of each chapter for things you can do in 5 minutes. Some of the things are a bit ambitious, however. Like it will take more than 5 minutes to dig a hole, drag a large potted plant over to the site, plant it in the hole, refill in the soil around it, water it in, add mulch, etc. Or maybe I'm just slow.

If you are interested in gardening, but think that it takes too much time, you’re about to have your mind blown. Nicole shows how simple it can be to enjoy an abundant harvest of home-grown goodness. And her book, like the method she teaches, is easy, fun, and practical.

I’ve followed her since the beginning and I teared up finally reading my first book of hers! So much valuable information in here about gardening, you won’t regret this purchase! One lesson I learned from Nicole is, investing in my business was always worth it <3
