We initially checked this book out from the library, and my baby loved it so much that we bought a copy. It arrived in great condition, and despite the "love" from my baby over the last 6+ months (or perhaps longer) it's still in good condition. This is still one of baby's favorite books, and we read it daily as part of her bedtime routine (baby chooses it from an assortment of books almost every day). We have read this book so many times I now have it memorized, but find I still enjoy it. The last page shows all the animals together, and we love going through and naming them, and it's become a fun game for baby to point at the animals repeatedly while I name them. I like that the rhymes are cute, and we can practice naming the animals, letters, as well as sounds. My only criticism (and it's nit-picky)- I'm a reading teacher and I wish that the "G" animal actually matched the sound G usually makes (Giraffe does not make the hard G sound, gorilla would have been a better choice), but that's a very nit-picky comment, and my baby certainly doesn't know the difference at this age. We love this book, and I hope you will too!

The cutest ABC book I have found! The rhyming is adorable. I also love that each letter pictures an animal that starts with that same letter, so you can also go through the book naming the animals with your kiddos (A is for alligator, B is for butterfly, etc.)
