I purchased this book for my daughter for Valentine’s Day, it’s a traditional Berenstain Bears book in style. Very cute story, definitely recommend if you were looking for a Valentines book that is wholesome.

Perfect gift for your toddler

I loved reading the Berenstain Books to my kids .. now I’m reading them to the grandkids I love that the books have fun stories in them , but also weaves a message in about kindness , forgiveness , generosity, etc that is relatable to children .

Good story to share with children around Valentine's Day. I like that Berstein Bears books are faith based. "Valentine Blessings" brings in 1Corinthians13:4-5 from the bible. The end provides thought provoking questions to encourage participation (& comprehension) and activity ideas to do together in addition to the page of stickers. Co-ed sport of ice "hockey" is integrated into the text.

Good valentines present

References to Bible verses and God. This was not what I expected for a valentines children’s book. Outdated stereotypes of elementary school age boy and girl relationships.
