Several seasons in the past, I gifted myself with Michael Buble's Christmas album. It remains the first CD I play on November 1st and I listen to it in rapture throughout the holiday season. I noted in an Amazon ad that a brand new collection of Buble's greatest hits was to be released recently. "The Best of Buble" is everything that I hoped for and with a couple of surprises. Before listening to this great collection of the master's vocals, I would have scratched "The Spider-Man Theme," but it has become one of my very favorite songs on this album of 21 great performances. "Cry Me a River" and "Me and Mrs. Jones" are other standout solos on this new album. There is not a single miscue among the performances. Buble is definitely today's Frank Sinatra. He has a great voice and he knows how to caress lyrics and make them his own. This is an instant classic for anyone who loves popular music.

Chances are if you like Buble's style you have most of these tunes are other releases but now they're in one collection. Fun that the Spiderman 2 song is included.

What can I say about this album? I absolutely love, love, love this album. It has most of my favorites and 2 new songs, which I love. One thing I love about Michael Buble is his vocal range, and most, if not all of his songs can make you want to dance, sing right along with him, and puts me in a better mood.

Bought as a gift for my wife. She loves it. Easy, smooth sounds. Great to relax with in the evening with a whiskey highball. 😉
