These were a gift for my 8 year old granddaughter who had discovered this series written so long ago. She loved them.

I bought The Boxcar Children Mysteries Boxed Set for my granddaughter, who struggles with ADHD and usually finds it hard to focus on chapter books. To my surprise, the first book has her completely engaged and sitting still while reading. This is a great series for kids who need a captivating story to hold their attention!

Granddaughter s teacher started these at the end of school. She was so excited to see these in the mail to herself very recommended for 8 and up

This is a rather simple adventure read, with four young children who make a home in a box car, as they are orphans. It is an easy read for my 8 year old, but she loves it, and my 5 year old loves listening to it. A good series, easier to read than famous five, almost nothing scary or tricky to navigate for sensitive readers, everyone behaves kindly to each other, siblings get along well together.
