I bought this book for myself and as a gift for someone else. I'm so glad I did. This book is a straightforward, simple to read, captivating story with many messages that spoke to me and comforted my soul. It's beautifully written and illustrated, nothing like I normally read, brought me to tears at times and then made my heart smile. What more can you ask for? Treat yourself and enjoy!

I own every book written by James Norbury. When I saw this was coming out I had to buy it. His story telling is great and his art work is amazing. The book is kind of sad but what you learn from it can be used in your own life. It doesn't take long to read but I like to read his books several times to savor what he has to teach. Can't wait for the next one!

Nearly moved my partner and me to tears! (Okay, so maybe it actually did.) I could list some themes — finding “family,” true purpose, living in the moment, “paying it forward,” never giving up on what really matters (while being willing to let go of what doesn’t matter so much… or what is out of one’s control) — but none of these statements have the “staying power” for your soul like this little book does. Filled with metaphor. Beautiful artwork. Speaks to the adult and the “child within” simultaneously. Timeless wisdom.

As I am trying to walk the path , this book appears along the way. I purchase it in the afternoon, read it in one go and like the simple way of describing the journey of life fully with the manifestation of love. Consize and deep.

Very good service and very good Book, the little ones loved it.

I have always loved the books by Norbury. While the literal content may be covered in less than twenty minutes, these are books that one needs to savour...each page, each illustration, every stroke of the brush in the paintings. Pause, take in the content, immerse yourself into the illustration, "be there with the characters", be an empath to feel the weight of the words. This is a gem of a creation. I have loved The Journey, and now this one is equally an immersive book. There are loads of books on the market which talks about Zen, compassion, self help, motivation etc. Norbury seems to hit the spot without using a single jargon in his entire book. The simplicity of the characters, situations and the words speaks volumes. I will not spoil the reading. Do read it. There is absolutely no way one could go wrong with this purchase.

Every single book he has written has been different with new characters and meaning to them. The beautiful artwork is outstanding. The book is in hard back so that the pages are protected.
