I never read the story nor had I seen a movie about this story. I've only known it to be recommended reading. Well, I so glad I was in a mood to finally read The Great Gatsby. Considering how world affairs are being displayed before us these days. This book can certainly provoke you to think about what it is we're chasing after & whether it will really matters in the end.

This book came in excellent condition and it has always been one of my favorite books! So glad I got to add it to my collection.

I took one star away from this item because the font is very small and somewhat hard to read. For a younger person, this will not be an issue, but for me it was. I'd say the font size is about an eight. I recommend buying a more expensive hard copy of this book as I intend to do. You won't regret it! This book is a classic and now I know why. If you are a lover of words, this book will feed your soul. It's not written in a way that is hard to understand, it's just beautifully written. I never highlight in books, but I wanted to go back and read F. Scott Fitzgerald's words over and over, so I decided to start highlighting. It was hard to move to the second chapter because I kept wanting to go back and read what I highlighted in chapter one. I know now what I've been missing and craving in reading. Buy this book if that's you too!
