And last, but not least - the novella! Millie and Enzo are getting married. I couldn't have been happier for these two, and after reading book three, I couldn't wait to learn what happened on their wedding day. The short story was a perfect addition to the series. It's technically book 2.5, but as the author says, it could be read before of after book three. If you haven't read book three yet, I would probably recommend reading the novella after book two, if you like things in chronological order. The story was fun and light (compared to those in full books). There were so many things going wrong on Millie's wedding day, that I felt her stress! But, as always, with Enzo by her side, I knew everything would work out just fine. I really love how much trust in each other those two have. They are a power couple! If you want to get a glimpse into Millie and Enzo's wedding day, you really must read the novella. It could be read in one sitting and is a real page-turner.

The Housemaid’s Wedding is a short story and just 63 pages. It is meant as a quick filler between books two and three of the Housemaid series. It’s not to be taken seriously; and is a fun and very quick read for the fans who wanted to read about Millie and Enzo’s wedding. I didn’t have to read about their wedding, but when McFadden mentioned it and I was able to buy a paperback copy for the inexpensive price of $2.79 I jumped at the chance! McFadden wrote this for the fans and is not making any money off this short story being written. I enjoyed it and I listened to the entire Housemaid series on audiobook, I heard the narrator Lauryn Allman’s voice as Millie again as I read this one! Allman is perfect as Millie for me with the audiobooks. I can’t wait to see how the movie will be. Read it or not, that is up to you as the reader. If you have enjoyed The Housemaid series then I say go for it. Just remember, it’s a very short and quick read!

I call these short stories palette cleansers for me. In between books until I decide my next book. Who doesn’t love Millie and Enzo? This story was quick and fills in the gaps. Cute story of their wedding day with a bit of drama which is how they live their lives.

When I first read The Housemaid... I fell in love with Millie's story... I know people have their opinions on Frieda's stories but this one hit home to me due to personal life experiences and it opened my eyes to things I had tried to explain away. Anyone who's ever been in a DV relationship knows what I'm talking about. And Enzo? So many women have different thoughts on who their perfect book boyfriend is and Enzo is mine. The way he loves and protects her with literally everything inside him... My goodness! That man is everything I hope to find in a husband one day. I devoured these books within a week, all 3 of them, and found myself missing this couple a lot so I'm thankful Frieda wrote about the wedding we didn't get to see in the other stories. It took me right back into their story, and it made me smile! I hope we get another story one day, of Millie, Enzo, and their children but if not - this is definitely a story I will re-read again. Thank you Freida, for opening my eyes to the abuse I was enduring without even realizing it.

Listen, I’m a Frieda fan. I love her books. First when I got it delivered I was disappointed to see how “short” of a short story it actually is. Before I even opened the package I felt the book and I was annoyed. But the real problem is that this book is just filler. It’s a waste and a money grab. No spoliers but I’m just going to say the ending was anticlimactic. Rather the whole book was…. If it was ever made into a tv series or something this entire book would be a 5 minute scene. Disappointing. ETA I preordered and paid like $16. Now it’s $4 and my review makes me look like a dummy but here it is

Short and quick. I am giving 4stars because I can't figured out whether or not it was useful although it was an alright read, but I feel it could've just been added to book 3. Also we are talking about Freida so I can't be too hard on her lol.

I loved that this story was short, direct, full of suspense from start to finish and had a certain sweetness to it. Enzo, Millie's husband to be demonstrates his love and fierce protection of Millie. Freud's McFadden has done it again even in a short story; awesome! Just when you think the story must go this way, she takes you to another totally unexpected turn. I recommend it to all psychological thriller lovers.

It was a good book, but I feel the author can do so much better. It was a short easy read.

Awesome book to be seen as the part 2.5 within the HOUSEMAID series (followes between part 2 and 3). Great to be read within one session due to its length of 70 pages. Thrilling type of writing!
