Jeff, in classical form, provides a stellar compendium of knowledge and guidance based on his nearly 20 years of experience in a very approachable manner that actively seeks to invite people into the space rather than scare away.
The book is written in a clear way that emphasizes foundations first and continues to climb "up the ladder" as one advances in strength training. As with all of Jeff's content, super humble, no ego. Anything isn't comfortable calling fact due to lack of scientific evidence he'll call out and expand upon, acknowledging pros / cons, and emphasizing one size does not fit all for any given individual.
I think beginners (like myself) who are just getting into strength training more seriously will find tons of value here. Combine that with something like "Rebuilding Milo" to help understand pains / stresses as you go through the journey will give you a great foundation that is easy to approach.

I have my doctorate in physics and have been lifting for about 18 months following Jeff's YouTube. This book is my new Bible. It's all the great information from his YouTube in one place. It's well laid out and explained in detail without scientific jargon to confuse. Also CITATION CITATION CITATION which I appreciate. I can read the studies myself if I don't trust Jeff (but I do)

I have read several chapters already. The ladder give you a nice detail about how to train and why based on Jeffs long experience.
This book is a must for anyone trying to improve their training and overall knowledge on how to tackle the gym
