I'm sure our grandson will love this book since The Leaf Thief is one of his favorite stories. As a former children's librarian, I can highly recommend this book. It's story line is entertaining as well as educational. The narrative lends itself to fun dramatic reading and the illustrations are very appealing. There is also a spring themed Squirrel & Bird book and a summer themed one which has a May 6, 2025 release date.

My students love this book! It’s humorous and engaging. The book is also a nice reminder of the changes fall brings.

This is a fun series of books. The grandchildren really enjoy these books. Ages: 5 to adults!!! :)

I'm unfamiliar with these "Thief" books because this is my first one but it's a cute story about a squirrel who is experiencing winter for the first time so he has to keep asking his friend the bird about what's happening in their forest. My kids are way out of the reading age for this book but we have a Christmas Book Countdown every year and I like swapping out an old familiar book with a new one every few years just to keep it interesting for them. I particularly enjoyed the little factoids at the end of the story.

Such a cute book and a must have in your home library if you enjoy the leaf thief series!
