There are numerous myths circulated about Israel, its history and its treatment of Palestinians. Often it's difficult to debunk them because information is buried and widely dispersed. This tiny book gives facts, figures and sources, all in a compact package. The truth is very different from what many people claim to belief.

Reading a Dershowitz book is like taking a Harvard course in whatever subject is being discussed. Alan Dershowitz has a talent of teaching, the ability to say complex matters in a straightforward and simplified manner. Here professor Dershowitz compresses his other similar book and presents the material so that those needing a quick read can learn the core principles of his arguments. There are none better than Dershowitz, and this book will teach you the most important core principles.

An absolute must read for anyone interested in this topic. Alan does a great job breaking down the most important issues and concisely explaining each and every one.

In this era of disinformation and unregulated social media, there are many lies about Israel and incorrect accusations. Dershowitz, in very lawyerly fashion, provides refutation of the ten most common falsehoods brought up by the Palestinians and their supporters. This book will help Israel supporters to stand up to the polemics of the Palestinians.

Dershowitz specializes in deception, distortions and outright lies. He denies genocide and war crimes, when Israel Historian, Lee Mordechai, in his 92-page June report details Israel's numerous war crimes and concludes unequivocally that Israel has committed genocide.
Israel's ethnic cleansing is irrefutable. (Study the 1948 Nakba, as explained by Professors Pappe and Khalidi.)
The United Nations has declared all of Israel's settlements, illegal, and ordered Israel to vacate the occupied territories.
OXFAM reported in March 2024, that Gazans in the north were starving, living off 245 calories per day. In March, Samantha Power, director of AID, said that famine existed in the north of Gaza. Alex de Waal, Tufts University Famine Expert, confirmed malnutrition and starvation existed in Gaza. See his April 23 article in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. "The deaths of children in Gaza of severe malnutrition, and of aid workers seeking to save their lives, are a stain on our collective punishment."
Armies have a duty to protect civilians, provide food, water, medicines, medical care and sanity shelter, but Israel's IDF deliberately maximized suffering cutting off food, water, medicines, electricity and destroying medical systems and sanitary systems in Gaza. As Professor Finkelstein said, "There were no safe places in Gaza." Israel forced 1.9 million Gazans to flee their homes, many repeatedly dislocated.
On June 18, 2024, UNICEF spokesman, James Elder speaking on CNN said that the physical and psychological capacity of Gazans "has been smashed."
Read also the several Open Letters of doctors, nurses, et alia (sent to Congress and Parliament) who worked in Gaza's hospitals describing Israeli soldiers targeting and murdering young children and medical workers. Israel's IDF killed hundreds of medical workers, hundreds of humanitarian workers, hundreds of UN workers, and, at last count, the IDF had killed over 180 journalists in Gaza.
Dershowitz's defense of genocide, starvation, ethnic cleansing, theft of Palestinians lands, is contemptible.
