The Ultimate Book of Random Fun Facts: Over 1000 Interesting Facts And Trivia Quizzes About History, Science, Sports, Animals, Space and Anything In Between!

Author Bill O’Neill has authored many books on Trivia and is an expert in this field! His topics include movies, football, baseball, wars, rock music, simply random trivia facts, US States, famous events in modern history, and unexplained mysteries. With a nod to providing interesting reading material while passing the time at home, Bill offers a cascade of facts and stories that address curiosity while thoroughly entertaining.
Bill’s astonishing facts not only entertain – they also educate! Start reading this book and just try to put it down. Some of the facts include: ‘The heat from the big Bang is still warming parts of the universe today’ ‘You could fit more than one million Earths inside the Sun’ ‘The world’s smallest independent country is the Vatican City’ ‘The world’s oldest country is said to be Iran’ ‘The country of Indonesia comprises more than 17,000 islands. Even still, Indonesia is not the country with the most islands in total: Sweden has more than 267,000!’ And that’s just for starters. Each of the many sections of facts is followed by a quiz – and the answers of course! This book is simply superb. Highly recommended.

An enjoyable book of trivia facts some old some new. Still they were fun. I really liked the pop quiz at the end of each chapter. Some of the questions were easy and some were hard, but they were all interesting. If you are fan of trivia grab a copy of this book. Then sit back with your favorite snack and drink then get enlightened.

I spend way too time reading and delving into trivia, but this book is really the best trivia book I have ever read. His pop quizzes at the end of each chapter are worth the price of the book alone. Here's the best part: I have fact checked a lot of his trivia and he scores a 100%. Can't do better than that!

This is a great trivia book for anyone who wants to know new facts they have not seen in other books. Bill O'Neill does it again. I really liked the way the book was laid out. Items of trivia followed by a short quiz and unlike some trivia quiz books the answers were on the pages just after the quiz.

I liked this book. It was fun and interesting to read. I learned some facts that I did not know before reading this book. Some of the interesting facts that the author of this book mentions includes the following information: The writings of Aristotle were almost lost after his death in 332 BCE because they were stored in an old basement and almost forgotten. The flag of Paraguay is different on opposite sides. One World Trade Center in New York has 73 elevators. 50% of the world's oxygen is produced by the sea. Ray Bradbury's original title for Fahrenheit 451 was The Fireman. Frankenstein's monster isn't called Frankenstein in the novel. The only name by which it is referred to in the original novel is Adam.

The Big Book of Facts is a treasure trove of fascinating tidbits that will captivate curious minds of all ages. Covering a wide range of topics—from history and science to quirky trivia—each page offers bite-sized facts that are both entertaining and educational. The well-organized sections make it easy to jump between topics, while the illustrations and infographics add a fun visual element.
Though it doesn’t dive deep into any one subject, the book’s breadth makes it perfect for quick learning or sparking interest in new areas. It's an excellent pick for kids and adults who love random knowledge and fun facts.
