I’m a teacher and this is the only brand of pencil I use, and it’s what I prefer all my students use. They are durable and can be sharpened for repeated use (other brands split half way through). The eraser is great and won’t peel apart. They might be a bit more expensive than some brands but they’re the best quality pencils out there.

The Dixon Ticonderoga HP pencil is the best non mechanical pencil in the world for general writing utility. Sharpens well and cleanly. Good bonding to the carbon. Solid wood that wont snap. Function eraser that doesn't mess up the paper.
