Good and bright. i like that you can change the temperature of the light (the light, not the bulb). I like how easy it is to expand the poles. It is very light and easy to transport. The material that the shade is made of seems cheap, but it does the job. I use this for self tapes, and it definitely has upgraded my lighting. I think I may need another one, though, to prevent shadows.

So I have a set of lights at home and would love to use them but they’re very large with wide legs and huge umbrellas. I needed something a bit more compact for my studio. I bought one and liked it so much I bought a second. These will pretty much do everything. Portrait, product, artwork etc. I also use them occasionally for additional light when drawing. They fold up nice and easy and can be tucked away when not in use. Very slight criticism here - I wish they expanded just a little bit taller. Doesn’t stop me from giving them 5 stars. Best part is, the price. You really can’t go wrong. Highly recommended

The product was remarkably easy to assemble and folds up conveniently for storage when not in use. The included remote control is a convenient feature, making it simple to adjust settings without having to get up. One of the standout aspects of this product is the changing hues of light which especially useful for different types of photography. If I could make one suggestion for improvement, it would be to increase the size by just a few inches. This minor adjustment would significantly enhance its functionality, particularly for clothing photography and ridding some shadowness. I am going to need to order another but the space that i use is smaller and i am concerned it will be too much. Overall, my experience with this product has been positive. It’s user-friendly, convenient, and offers some impressive features that make it a great addition to any photography setup. With the purchase of an additional unit, I am hoping it will be everything that I need!

This is a very entry level softbox, but it does the job for content creation (which is what I purchased it for). Overall, I think the value is there. I am happy with the colors and it works for its intended purpose. Nothing feels too cheap and the stand is fairly sturdy. I did struggle with putting the box together, but I don’t think that is unique to this product. The light does come with a remote, but if you lose it, you cannot change the color again. It is important to not lose the remote. The light is small, which is nice for a compact space.

This is an excellent lighting kit! I'm particularly pleased with the ability to change the color settings. In terms of the company's customer service: Although the remote didn't work, the company responded immediately and sent a replacement. As it turns out, the first remote did work -- you just have to push the on/off button in the right place (minor adjustment). When I got the second remote, I tried it (it worked), so I went back to the first remote... and it worked when I pressed in a different place. I offered to send the second remote back or pay for it, but the company said to just keep it.

Excellent light. I am an actor and use it for my auditions. It works perfectly fine. But what prompted me to write this review was their customer service. The control remote was not functioning well and I contacted them. They responded in less than a day and sent me a new remote right away. Thanks for the great support.

First of all, this light is a great value. The stand is flimsy, but for indoor use and not moving it around much, it will work fine. The dimming feature is great, and it's super easy to operate and put up and take down. However, on my light, the color temperature doesn't work. If I try to change from warm to cool, the dimmer operates, but not the color temperature as it should. The dimmer works properly on the other switch, so it's not reversed and there's no way to change it. It also emits a really annoying buzzing, whining noise on some settings. So overall, for light and casual use, this is a great value and easy to use. Just be prepared for not all the features to work.
