The product is just as advertised and was a great value for the price. Just as good of quality as more expensive alternatives. Works great.

This capo does seem to work, but I'd consider it a backup capo, and I'm sorry I paid as much as I did to it. It is very light but good plastic -- which is okay if it holds up to a lot of use, but I would worry it might not. Time would tell, but I will relegate it to a backup capo or keep it with a less used guitar. The fit around my main guitar neck (Taylor grand auditorium) seems like it stretches the capo a little too much, the fit does not seem natural. I'm probably biased about the price because I picked up a quite nice metal capo for even less cost from another store, though I would call it a funky import outfit and maybe I got lucky on that one item. But given some of the other capos I've seen on Amazon, I'd try spending a couple of more bucks to get a non-plastic one. But this capo does work and the spring seems reasonably strong. If lightness is an advantage for you, this might be a good choice. **** Update - I upgraded it from 3 to 4 stars after a reevaluation. It does what it is supposed to do, though it still seems relatively overvalued for a plastic capo. I looked again at the fit -- the lower arm just feels a wee bit short, giving me the impression it is not fully gripping the neck -- but it does seem to hang on sufficiently, and does not seem over stretched. My metal capo still just has a better feel to it and I prefer it. **** Update - on comparing it again with my metal capo, I feel the sound is slightly different. Perhaps the light plastic does not create as solid a fretting of the string, causing the sound to muffle ever-so slightly. May not be important to you, but I'm sticking with the metal capo if I want the best sound quality.

If you have a guitar, get a capo! I’ve seen people use a pencil and a rubber band lol, this is simple and affordable, it’s lasted me forever

This capo is gentle to any acoustic guitar neck yet quick and smooth to place. My old grandma hands are now quite too arthritic to play so in giving my guitar to my grandson I picked this up to replace the 60 year old relic I had and we are bother very pleased with it. Good design !

Three stars due to value for the price. The spring in mine is a little weak, and I need to fiddle with the capo to get a buzz free sound on a guitar with very low action. On a second guitar with a higher action I could not get all open strings buzz free. Both are steel string acoustic guitars with 12-54 string sets. I have not tried disassembling and stretching the spring yet. The forked bridge pin puller broke. I did not expect this to last since it is thin plastic. No recommended for beginners or for use on stage. Beginners will get frustrated. On stage there are many distractions and you'll feel dumb when you get a bunch of buzzing on that first chord after moving the capo. OK, I felt dumb when the first chord was buzzing on open strings.

Its a little cheap feeling but hasn't shown any signs of breaking or wear, and it does its job, so, worth it.

I use the capo for my electrical guitar. Sometimes some strings don't play in correct tone.
