I'm pleased with the design, considering the price. The screen is very stable and the doors open easily. It lost a star because the finish is not really bronze; it's more of an oiled brown. Also, the frame on the right side has manufacturing flaws that look like gouges that were painted over. For the really fussy buyer, the welds are not smooth. Again, for the price I'm pleased.

Beautiful color and finish, and just the right size. That's it !! And, that is why I am waiting for a replacement, just in case the one I received was a rare occurrence. Such a simple screen should not have four major quality control flaws. 1. Screen doors do not lay flat against the frame in the closed position. 2. Left screen has a 1/2" gap on the bottom. 3. Right screen has a 1/2" gap on the top. 4. An entire line of mesh wire was missing. Received the replacement about 6 weeks later, and no luck. Not the same exact problems again, but enough that I could not use it. I really wanted something that would stay in place and I could just open the doors. The doors only closed within 3/4" of each other. I have gas logs, but with wood, sparks would fly right through. Ended up spending a lot more on a hand-forged, custom-made screen from Colorado. It fits exactly to the opening, is very heavy and will last a lifetime.

It fits almost like a custom insert. Very well made and sturdy. I love having doors to open vs. my original screen which I had to completely move out the to access the inside of fireplace. This should definitely minimize the popping pieces from flying out onto my carpet. The instruction sheet was pretty useless, print and images so light I couldn't read them, but a two year old can figure out where the four attachments go. Can't wait to build a fire tonight. My estimated delivery was Jan 9-14 and screen arrived on Jan 4. Pleasant surprise and I'll go back to that seller to see if they have a nice fire poker set.

The screen fits perfect. Covers the small gaps (that allowed a few small carpet burns) I had from a large 5 panel fireplace screen. Doors open and close perfectly and gap in doors remains uniform down the line. The are some imperfections, but really just enough to make it seem more "rustic". The color is a little strange, not quite what I think of as bronze, but I expect that might change with time and heat. The packing seemed inadequate and there were a couple little marks in the actual screen portions. Overall, the fit, general stability, and the spark protection I expect, makes this a great buy for me.

Great quality and price. Would buy again. Only complaint is that one of the magnets at the bottom isn't properly aligned so one side doesnt fully shut at the bottom. Doesn't really affect usage, though, and still happy with purchase.

Very Happy with our fire screen. The quality was good and it fit our opening perfectly. It was hard to find something that was bronze vs. black or stainless. It looks beautiful on our fireplace. The doors open easily and the screen is sturdy
