This is what you see upon opening the BougeRV Lithium battery. It arrives DOUBLE boxed, w/heavy duty cardboard on BOTH boxes, and inside a molded polyethylene foam surround on all sides (including top and bottom). This battery clearly shows it's quality from BougeRV's level of protection, making sure it arrives in perfect condition. Opening and examining the battery only further confirms BougeRV's level of quality (highest I've seen). Once delivered, the external box showed the normal level of scuffs and scratches, but the inside box was absolutely perfect, and definitely worth saving. Then, the strong, form fitted foam was the "icing on the cake”, showing BougeRV's level of experience and concern that their battery arrives in perfect condition, ready to work on any project or vehicle. Further, this is the first Lithium battery I’ve seen with autonomous, automatic internal heating. Once internal battery temps approach freezing, low level heating is activated, preventing damage during charging (you cannot charge Lithium batteries below freezing, or permanent damage will occur). You cannot go wrong with this level of LiFePO4 safety and sophistication. If you weren’t aware, this type Lithium battery (LiFePO4) DOES NOT explode NOR catch fire.

The battery never worked and I tried contacting BougeRV and their customer care numbers do not work. I finally received a message back and my battery was replaced. I gave a rating of four because of the difficult time I had trying to reach someone and because the first battery didn’t work. Now I have to drive 35 miles to the nearest FedEx to return the broken battery.

I always have been a fan of BougeRV and have purchased numerous products from them, such as their 180-watt Solar Panels and numerous other BougeRV accesories to support this RV installation in preparation for some boondocking with our RV. To complement this, an old AGM Battery is being replaced with this 100-amp LifePo4 Battery from BougeRV. This was my first LifePo4 purchase, thus we hope it will meet or exceed our off-grid power expectations. I share the same setiments of the prior review, very well packaged, I was also very impressed. (I updated this after getting my warranty exchange sorted, although I would prefer to have just returned and gotten something else if not for the shipping difficulties) I got 4 12 100Ah self heating. 1 was faulty on arrival reading 3.6V. Worries me and then I see reviews about some had loose connectors don't know how it could get to 3.6V. There service was responsive and reasonable - asked for some tests and pictures, that that makes sense. So after a number of days of back and forth they shipped a replacement we're on opposite coasts. So it took a while but seems to be working OK. But now I don't have faith in these other 3 and new 4th battery, and that's confounded by not really knowing what the BMS is doing worries me running 4 in parallel. So I did decided I wanted to return them and get something with a bluetooth monitor, or something to see individual cells, batteries, and status so I know what's going on. But the 30 day return really is not realistic for the non faulty ones. This is not a normal amazon purchase. If you are just unsatisfied - even if it was because one was faulty in your multiple batch, you will have to ship them back. And I'm not sure it's possible. And if it is, it's going to cost $150+ a battery from the east coast. Shame on me for not realizing this beforehand. They did cover the shipping for the faulty one's return, and although it was quite an adventure trying to get UPS or Fedex to take it, they finally arranged USPS to take it back. Was a hassle, but they kept on it and sorted it and were responsive.

Well this is a update on my 100ah battery. The first one wasn’t quite right and I got ahold of bouge rv. Let me say the customer service samyl is jus just the greatest a big shout out to samyl. He answered my email within hours which is unheard of through most venders. They asked for pics of the labels on the box and I also included pics of the battery. Writhing hours I got an email saying they were sorry and shipping a new battery to me. Whit him a day they sent me a tracking email and within 3 days had the battery. I sent the original email on June 23 had the battery the 28. Which was great cause I needed it to replace a smaller battery for a one week overlanding trip. And they had it to me in time. The battery arrived in great shape so far works great and charged up great using bouge rv cigs panel with a bouge rv 30 amp pwm. Which I’m going to upgrade to a bouge rv 30am mppt Bluetooth controller once back in stock. I understand that things happen in shipping or off the line and sometimes you don’t get a good product that’s any company but what most places don’t get is the great customer service to take care of the problem. Bouge rv is the opposite they take care of there customers with no hassles and show they care plus they have the greatest products I own a lot of there stuff solar panels l. Solar controller. Solar cables and solar splitters. Got one thing that didn’t meet my expectations and they handled it fast and with a replacement that does. I will always recommend bouge rv equipment to anyone especially my overlanding club I’m in. Once again thank you samyl your great and thank you bouge rv for the continued great products. Tony
