I love this brush. I have two dogs that shed a LOT. I am always vacuuming but felt like I wasn't getting it all out of the carpet. I used this brush and essentially got a small dog worth of hair out of the carpet that otherwise looked clean. It works so easy to pull up hair that you otherwise wouldn't see. It's easy to clean because you just pull off any hair that sticks to it but its not really an issue. The quality is great and even with some aggressive scraping I havent had it bend on me. It's easy to store, i just hang it in my laundry room with my other brooms and pull it out a couple times a week before I vacuum. I also like the nice bright color! I highly recommend this if you've got animals that shed and other tools havent worked for you. This is the BEST pet hair tool out there.

Wasn’t sure about this item. The extension pole felt not the sturdiest sometimes. But it is amazing at removing cat hair from rugs. I have a Dyson animal hair vacuum– one of the latest models. It is awesome, but I have to put it on high speed and it uses up a lot of the charge and even then it leaves cat hair behind. Here is what the Uproot accomplished in just a few minutes of raking this little rug that I’d vacuumed a few days earlier. Second photo is of the primary culprits contributing to the cat hair.

We have 2 dogs. One of them is a Saint Bernard/Great Pyrenees mix. She has long hair and sheds so much. We use a name brand "pet" vacuum and still have to unwind her hair from the beater bar. Pros: • Easy to assemble. Looks daunting until you read the directions. • Reinforced handle. • Lightweight. • Easy to use. Simply lightly rake your carpet drawing hair into a pile. • As far as I can tell it doesn't damage your carpet as it drags across the top of it. • Works great and gets up a lot of hair, more than I realized was there. Cons: • Wish I had found this years ago. • Seemed a bit pricey until we considered the money spent replacing vacuums over the years. We highly recommend this to anyone who is constantly dealing with pet hair. This is an honest review without any sort of compensation.

Bought this Uproot Cleaner to help with the never-ending process of cleaning up the dog and cat hair off of the living room floor. No matter how much I vacuum it doesn't all come up. I tried this product and found it to work very well in removing the pet hair, however it does take a decent amount of elbow grease to remove the hair. I can usually only do about half of an 8x10 rug before I get tired due to the amount of force you have to put into this thing to get it to remove the hair. I have only tried it on very short carpet, so that may be a factor. Overall, I would buy it again. It will clean up a space very well and removes a crazy amount of fur you wouldn't even know is there!

This carpet rake is amazing. I raked my bedroom carpet and was disgusted to find that the hair I pulled up equated to a small dog. No small feat considering that I have a Beagle, not a long haired dog. After this I did a very thorough vacuum with my pet vacuum, which is actually rather effective as far as vacuums go. Even so, I raked again and was rewarded with a guinea pig size clump. Final vacuum and done. Ran my air purifier on high after that, as one would not believe the deep down stuff released. I don't think it's ever been this fresh in there. The rake is easy to use and assembled fairly quickly. The head and teeth seem very sturdy. The pole not so much so. The price seemed high to me, but the performance can't be beat and I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Does what i bought it t do, which is rake up my German Shepherd's "excess" fur. Easy to use (though I think only the one side does much on my carpeting) and durable (I'm a big guy and I have yet to bend it). Not sure $50 is a bargain, but I'd buy it again. God only knows how much my vacuum cleaner's lifespan has been extended with this thing around.

This tool did an ok job at picking out the pet hair from my carpet, we have a golden retriever. The carpet looked a lot better though the tool is hard to use and doesn't "sweep" the pet hair across the rug as easily as it appears to do so on the videos.

This is the best money I've spent in a long time. It's a work-out to use. Not going to lie about that. BUT. I have a Great Pyrenees and a Saint Bernese and my carpets are full of dog hair. This thing combs it out and then I vacuum. It saves my vacuum and the rugs look new. I'm short, my husband is tall, handle length works for both of us.
