After recently purchasing the VIOFO A229 Pro 3 Channel for my first car, I was so impressed with its quality that I decided to buy the A329 2 Channel for my second car. VIOFO has quickly become my go-to brand for dash cams due to their products’ reliability and excellent craftsmanship. First Impressions: The A329 arrived neatly packaged, just like the A229 Pro. Everything I needed was included: the front and rear cameras, mounting accessories, and cables. Its sleek, compact design ensures it doesn’t take up much space or obstruct my view while driving. Why I Chose the A329: Since the A229 Pro performed so well in my primary car, I wanted a similarly dependable option for my second vehicle. The A329 offers great value with its 4K front camera and 2K rear camera. While it’s a slightly simpler setup compared to the A229 Pro, it meets all my needs for safety and recording. I also appreciated its Wi-Fi 6 capability for faster downloads and support for external SSD storage, allowing for extended recording times. Final Thoughts: The VIOFO A329 2 Channel is another excellent product from a brand I trust. It’s easy to use, packed with useful features, and feels like a great investment for car security. If you’re looking to turn your car into a rolling surveillance station, this Viofo 4K Dash Cam is your new best friend. It records in 4K at 60fps, it captures every pothole and bad driver in glorious detail. It supports up to 4TB SSDs, which makes transferring large files to your computer really easy. Installation? Easy enough just peel, stick, and hide the cables with the included trim tool. Features? HDR for harsh lighting, a G-sensor to lock footage during impacts, and a parking mode that’s so sensitive it’s practically a car babysitter. And the CPL filter? No more windshield glare ruining your clip. The rear camera (2K resolution, 360° rotation) makes sure tailgaters get the detailed view they deserve. Add in the app for Wi-Fi downloads and settings tweaks, and you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it. Verdict: Crystal-clear footage, loads of features, and a setup so easy even I can do it. Buy it, mount it, and enjoy watching your roads in all their chaotic glory. Very happy with the quality and usefulness of this product. Bonus: No one else mentions this but (probably for legal and safety reasons)… You can live steam either camera to your phone while driving (See last picture). I have a pick up truck and this allows me to have a real time baby cam on whatever I'm hauling in the bed. This will also be great for parades to keep an eye on the kids riding in the back while they throw out candy to the crowds. This was an unexpected but much loved feature.

Review of Viofo A329 2-Channel Dash Cam Pros Clear, sharp picture, compact footprint on the windshield Cons Price (if you want the better equipment, you have to pay for it) Tips: Turn off VPN in your phone when connecting Wi-Fi. Make sure to use the USB-C port on the GPS attachment of the camera, NOT the one on the side (that's used for additional storage with a SSD). YES, it does make a difference in the proper operation of the dashcam. The dashcam can be removed off the GPS mount by sliding it to the right so if you are installing on the left of the mirror assembly, leave enough room when mounting for the cam to slide to the right. Regardless how great your dashcam is, there may be instances where the camera cannot see the license plate of a vehicle. Always verbally call out a license plate number so your dash cam can record it. I purchased the cam during a sale that included a 256GB VIOFO card. Having purchased another camera using the same case (not a VIOFO cam) some years ago, I was cautious as I was not pleased with it's performance. Those fears were put aside once I saw the video results. I have had over 18 different types of dashcams, from low to high end over the past 20 years. My primary concern with any dashcam is how well it can read a license plate. The A329 performs that task with a 5 out of 5. I wanted to do the install with an OBD2 port connector but they weren't ready for sale at the time of install so I opted for the Micro fuse hardwire kit for our Hyundai Santa Cruz. No need to be concerned with an in-cam battery or capacitor causing any damage as the camera is powered by the car battery in parking mode when using the hardwire kit. A thorough instruction manual is provided. No issues with loop recording has been noticed. No nonsense user interface. A spare 3M double face is included as well as the pre-mounted one. I prefer this method as suction cups eventually fail, especially in South Florida. I've had one too many cams dangling by the wires from failed suction cups. Also, you can mount the cam higher on the windshield than you can with a suction cup mount. With today's cars being more dependent on the battery, the A329 offers different level settings for battery cutoff, a nice feature I haven't seen with other cams I have used. I tested the parking mode by giving the car a hard nudge, the cam worked flawlessly. Ease of saving video 5/5 Ease of viewing saved video (manually) 5/5 Ease of viewing saved video (voice) 5/5 Ease of removing cam from slide mount 5/5 Ease of using downloaded software 5/5 Clarity of video (front cam) 5/5 Clarity of video (rear cam) 5/5 Parking mode 5/5 Night vision 5/5 Overall performance 5/5 Yes, the A329 is an excellent dashcam that I can recommend. This will probably be the last dashcam that I will need to purchase. EDIT : As others have mentioned, ignore the early negative review above as you can see that he has not made a Verified Purchase of an A329 so any claims by him should be null and void.

I purchased 2 of these and had them professionally installed in our Wrangler 4xe and Mercedes 350 GLCe. So far they seem to be working great. I find the app absolutely necessary but rather clunky. You need to connect via wi-fi if you want to view videos which works fine but seems to take too long with too many steps. The equipment seems solid and well made. 3M adhesive for front and rear cams are included. It doesn’t have an internal battery so it’s not supposed to be as heat sensitive as other dash cams. Images seem fine during the day, not as good at night as they seem rather grainy. Good solid dashcam that should last - though it’s not perfect I would recommend it.

Excellent video quality from both channels. Installed with 2TB SSD recommended by supplier. I have purchased along with associated hardware kit for Parking recording. One cable didn't work but seller replaced it promptly even when return was not feasible from my side. The installation was done by the person recommended by seller.

I just bought a brand new A329 for $700, and the box wasn’t even sealed. To make things worse, instead of the A329, I got a used A229 Pro covered in fingerprints. This is beyond disappointing. Fix this, Viofo!

Giving one star cz it showing 4k 60fps. Bt in settings im getting 30Fps 4k. Aha i got it when u turn off HDR then you can put 4K 60fps. So i changed to 4 star. Cz its not 4K hdr 60fps.
