These hive stands are great. The only drawback is that the legs on the bottom are really low to the ground making it impossible to create an ant moat. Also, trying to put petroleum jelly on the bottom of the legs is super difficult because, again, the space between the base of the legs and the ground is really small and hard to get your fingers into in order to spread petroleum jelly.... The legs are also oddly shaped so you have to get into tiny crevasses to get the jelly in there. There are tiny slots in the sides of the base but again, the slots are small so sprinkling diatomaceous earth under them is impossible. If you have an ant control problem, these hives are extremely difficult to work with. On a positive note, they've held up for years, the built in frame holders are handy and they can be removed if you're someone like me who will trip over them while working on the next hive over! They ARE great stands. The drawbacks are minimal unless you really do have an ant problem like me.

Bought two a few years ago and they gave been great. Elevates hives from skunks and makes working the hives easier on the back. Looks nice in the apiary too. Just made my second purchase.

I have a number of Ultimate Hive Stands and recently purchased the updated version with the plastic frame supports. It's cheaply made and I don't expect it to last nearly as well as the prior model. I could have searched for the older model but in doing so I came across the Vivo Hive Stand with the same benefits (Heavy plastic construction and metal frame rests). I have had luck with other Vivo beekeeping products so I decided to order a couple and see how they work out. They arrived well packaged and assembled quickly and easily. They just click together. They don't appear as sturdy as the Ultimate Hive Stand but they should be sufficient since I won't be moving them much after setting them up. The frame rests are very sturdy. I don't envision any issues with them. They fit my hives just fine and they don't look too bad out in the yard where I can see them from the porch. Overall I'm happy with them and for the price I've decided that this will be my hive stand for the hives that are closer to the house from now on (out away from the house where people can't see them I can use something more crudely constructed (by me). I recommend this product.

Got from Amazon warehouse, one piece was cracked but I bonded it with epoxy and it's fine, considering it was 1/2 price although no mention of damage in the description.read reviews about hive fit, my hive from Maybee fit in perfectly, but snug so I can see people manhandling it and breaking. Oh well!

The product I ordered I needed to return as it was 1 inch too narrow. The return process was great

A tight fit is one thing, but this is ridiculous. It is about 3/8 " too small for a standard 10 frame to fit. Unfortunately, I already disassembled my home made stand to replace it with this. Now I am stuck with this. I should have measured the assembled stand prior to disassembling the hive, but I am an idiot that believes the specifications of products when it is printed on the box. I took the thing apart again just to see if I had somehow assembled it incorrectly. Nope. Only goes together one way. Why are your standards for your product so low that it does not do the one thing it was made to do? Absolute garbage, idk what I expected I was shopping on Amazon.

Easy to assemble a great value, and very sturdy. I have put this product to use and I highly recommend it. Took no time and effort to assemble, and they are ready to go almost instantly.

TOO SMALL. I have a standard 10 frame hive (which this product claims to fit). The lip on the top of the stand makes the platform about 4mm too small. I'll have to trim down the bottom board by 2mm on each side in order to get it to fit. The frame holder looks handy but be aware that it contributes greatly to the structural integrity of the stand, so if you're planning not to use it (not enough space, etc) this may not be the product for you.
