I have a heavy desk and this frame fit the bill I order to raise it with no issues. It is sturdy and reliable. I would recommend.

I purchased the desk base and added my own top, a 1" thick solid wood butcher block countertop from Lowe's. The top is 25" deep and the base is 23" deep, so there is only a 1" overhang at the front and back. This makes it impossible to use a clamp-on monitor stand or other clamp-on accessories. If you want a dual monitor stand, you will need to buy one with a base that sits on top of the desk (taking up desk space) or drill a hole in the desk top to mount the stand though the top. Alternatively, you could buy a 30" deep top to achieve a wider overhang, if you have the space. The base is very solid and stable at all heights. It only wobbles backward and forward because it is sitting on high pile carpet in my office. This is not an issue with the base, just with my particular situation. One small complaint I have is that there are four bolt on both the front and rear rails that are used to tighten the rails once you have adjusted the width of the base to your desired length (you can see these silver bolts in the photos). The bolts are not flush with the bottom of the rails - they are raised about 1/4" and can scratch the skin or clothing on top of your thighs if you aren't careful. The designers should have allowed for flush/recessed bolts. One hint about setting the memory heights: the instructions say to hold the S button down until the display begins to flash, then press one of the three numbered buttons to save. This is incorrect and caused me frustration until I discovered that you only need to press and release the S button, then press one of the numbered buttons to save. Overall, I'm very pleased with the desk base. It was very easy to assemble. All of the bolt holes lined up and everything works as it should. It takes 22 seconds to raise or lower my desk 17 inches. The motors are fairly quiet.

Motors work very smoothly, very sturdy. I bought to use a door I had for a larger desk 7ft by 36 inches. At its absolute smallest, the frame is about 3 to 4 inches longer than my door, going to add some trim to each end, love the desk space.

It is very easy to build. Holding up my 30 x 72 table top. I finally have a table that is big enough and with the function to adjust the height to suit my need.

This is a very sturdy product, it was exactly as described, and fairly easy to put together. I would highly recommend!

This was one of the easiest desks I have ever setup!! The final stages, however, were left wanting. It did not come with the 3 extension cables to connect the motorized legs to the control panel. So now I have a low, large table until I can get those in

I should have purchased years ago. I'm using this base with an 80" x 40" table top I made that's holding 5 monitors, a 900 watt UPS, and a full tower (mounted underneath), and the motor still effortlessly lifts and lowers without any sign of strain. Also, the (algorithm recommended?) casters adds even more utility to this table (link below). With the casters, it's easy to move the whole setup for cleaning, cabling or meetings at home when the home office isn't big enough. Expected (and verified) Pros: * Motor is quiet - if you have a _very_ light sleeper in the room a few feet from the desk, there's a chance this would wake them. Don't get me wrong, it's audible but not loud ( 50 dB +/1 2 dB), ambient room noise levels were 34 dB at time of reading. * Easy assembly, directions are reasonably clear, parts are labeled. Would help to have a second person to temporarily hold parts, but it's not that hard without. * Build quality: I could not believe how much of the product is steel and the weight of the pieces. All concern for "could it support my table" immediately vanished. So nice to see a product that's more than the absolute minimum it has to be. Uexpected Pros: * I was so focused on standing vs sitting height, I hadn't realized the huge benefit of being able fine tune both sitting and standing height. Knowing what I know now, I would buy this again even if I never planned to work standing. * Cabling workstations is so much easier when you can just crank it up to it's highest setting. No crawling under the desk or on the ground, usually banging your head when you climb out to stand up. Best experience setting up a workstation I've ever had. Cons: * Really the only minor issue is that, depending on what dimensions you choose to build, what becomes the apron of the table may not be flat... (imagine seeing the frame from above without the top installed, instead of seeing straight lines "------------------" you see "--------_______--------"). Of course this problem goes away if you build a proper apron. Again, minor issue, and moreover it wasn't hidden, it's clearly visible in the product pictures. Conclusion: While I would have loved to received this product (model DESK-E-400B) for less, I know there's no way they could produce it the way it is at a lower price point, so I'd say it's a great value for the money. Too often I've scoffed at a product that costs $10, instead buying one for $3. When disappointed, I try a different product that costs $5, then $7 before finally buying the $10 product you should have bought all along. _This_ is the $10 product. Can't recommend it enough and am slightly annoyed that everyone I've told doesn't immediately buy one too. I'm using this to hold a roughly 4x8ft butcher block table that I use as a hobby space. It has no problem lifting that with multiple computers and various other objects that roughly equate to 100lbs on top of the weight of the butcher blocks. It still adjusts smoothly and works without any issues even at that weight. Assembly took two people and roughly an hour and a half. It wasn't difficult but does require a fair amount of space to assemble at the fully extended dimensions.
