My ice maker in my Fridge quit working and the endless trips for ice were getting old. I finally broke down and bought this ice maker and it comes in very handy!! Ice, Ice, Wonderful Ice!! It’s making ice all the time. You do have to empty the bin, it stops when it’s full, I just store all my ice in the freezer. There are 2 sized of ice pellet’s S & L. The ice maker is super fast. Literally 5 minutes and the 1st drop of cubes is ready, Just keep the water full, and empty the bin and it will make ice constantly. It stops when full, extremely quiet, I put mine in the nook by the fridge on the floor. Fit great, has plenty of space, and doesn’t take up counter space. After some use you will see sediment form in the bottom and it will need to be be cleaned. Do NOT follow the instructions in the book or you will be returning your broken machine. Drain the water. Use a microfiber cloth with a touch of bleach to clean out any sediment or ick & dirt. Clean all the parts you can reach. Don’t spray water inside or fill up an drain. It will stop working. Also, these only work about a year. I’m on my third. Eventually the components inside just stop cooperating with each other. It will cycle but it will not draw up water to make ice. You will know it’s about to go out when the ‘full’ light starts coming on when the machine is empty. Some tricks to keep pit going a little longer are to unplug it for an hour or so, and closer to the very end, you may have to lightly kick it it to get it to realize it is actually empty so it will make ice. Not long after this stage, it will die. It is still very Easy to set up, Easy to Use, and I highly recommend for a 1 year machine‼️

This machine works so quick I was eating and using ice in minutes it's compact and can barely hear it's even doing anything had to put it in my room so don't have to go downstairs just for ice in my drink I don't think it's ever going to be turned off I use it so much since I got it

I purchased this ice maker in April of 2022. Ran it 24/7 from day one making ice around the clock! It died on me this week and I did not hesitate to reorder immediately! Very quiet, super efficient and works hard! We can’t live without it!

I live in a senior retirement community, and the kitchens are very small with very small appliances, including the refrigerator, which has no icemaker and a very small freezer. Ice is difficult to come by. This ice machine makes a reasonable amount of ice and a reasonable amount of time, although the time required to make the first few batches of ice is somewhat lengthy at 8 to 10 minutes. Once the basket starts to fill, however the time for each batch of eight nuggets decreases. This machine is probably too small to make sufficient ice for an entire family, but for one or two people it’s quite adequate. The cost is reasonable for what it does. It operates off of regular household current. This is my third one of these machines in the past four years of the same construction and model, but different brands. The major disadvantage is that they don’t last terribly long. We have extremely hard water, and in spite of draining regularly and running a batch of vinegar water through it every couple of weeks, the first one did eventually plug up. The second one began to leak after about a year. Another resident in this complex who has the same ice machine, said that hers only lasted about eight months, where as mine generally last a little over a year. However, I turn mine off every night and turn it on again in the morning, where as she ran hers 24 hours a day. Her motor burned out, and I think the motor is better protected if the machine is turned off during the hours that it is not necessary to use. Given the cost of the machine, which has been reasonably stable over the past four years, it is worthwhile to me to replace it every year or year and a half.

I recently replaced my mom’s 20 year old side by side refrigerator with a newer fridge more suited to her needs. (Freezer on top, fridge on bottom. Old style, but not narrow in freezer/fridge like a side by side). One thing that the new fridge doesn’t have is an ice maker like her old side by side. So I picked up this beautiful blue unit (they have various colors) that sits on the counter. The unit is VERY QUIET while it is running with only the occasional sound of ice being deposited in the hopper. It does need to have water poured in every now and then to refill the reservoir, and if you leave the ice in the hopper for a while, it will start to melt and stick to the other ice cubes. But if you empty the hopper every now and then and put the ice in ziploc bags and put them in the freezer for later use, then it does a great job. The ice is bullet style ice, and the machine will allow you to select large or small bullet sized ice. This is NOT Sonic ice! (The soft crunchy ice found at Sonic drive in). I have a GE Opal ice maker in the garage that needs repairing that makes Sonic ice (that I love!), but considering that the GE model is 5 times the price of this one (and is currently broken), this is a fantastic replacement. And if your freezer is full of ice and you don’t need to make any more, you can just store this in the garage on a shelf until it’s needed. This can also be taken with you camping (if you have a generator) and will provide up to 26 lbs of ice a day. I have to say, I am a big fan of this

We got tired of fighting to get a few ice cubes out of trays. Then wait hours for more ice to be made. This machine makes our ice cubes 24-7. It’s small, it’s pretty on my counter top. I got the red one. Definitely a good and useful buy!

Got the product read the instructions and there is no self cleaning function on this ice maker which was the whole reason for buying it. It's two stars because it is a decent ice maker just false advertising.

Very nice unit. Ice in less than 5 minutes. We use at the lake and keep it outside and only turn off at night. Fill the reservoir and forget it. Great ice maker. Highly recommend
