I'm going to excellent air pump it but it is a big air pump so the noise is assessive however I would highly recommend this air pump because it works really good for what it's supposed to do so everybody that says it's super loud it is loud but that is what an air pump that size sounds like thank you

These have been the lifeline of my 30-40 tank fish room. They don’t seem super loud to me and they are able to pump a lot of air to a lot of tanks. Perfect for small fish rooms. I’ve had one quit on me in a year or so, so the build quality might not be up to the same standards as more expensive models but for the price they seem to do the job great.

It's powerful for my needs, but its loud noise from the air intake is irritating. I tried several methods to muffle the noise. In the end I connected a 4 ft coiled hose to the intake and it significantly reduced the noise.

Excellent powerful and not too loud it came with two air stones a coil of airline and a manifold with connections for eight airline's. It does generate some heat so I put a fan blowing on the air pump and it really helps keep it cool.

I have been using this air assist pump for just over a year with my 14W Jtech laser and it has worked awesome. It has the 4 output spots but I just use the one for my laser.

this pump is powerful, but not something for a bedroom grow room, quite noisy with the vibrations, excellent for a more commercial application or something where noise isn't so much an issue, it's great, just not for me , FYI: ran at 56W on the meter full out with stones in water

Built a homemade aeroponics system for growing plants and for rooting cuttings. It works great and produces lots of bubbles with the 6 air channels. It is in my garage so the noise does not bother me much, however you may consider this factor if it's positioned in your living area. I am assuming it could also be used for hydroponics systems

I bought this for my first pump for a 4x4 tent with 4 plants. It is..........loud, to say the least. HOWEVER, I should have done my research first, as this is a commercial pump and wasn't designed for my intentions. If i decide to move my tent out to the garage (outside of hearing range) this pump will be amazing. It is as powerful as it is loud, and supplied and insane amount of pumping power which could be amazing for my uses, but ONLY if it is outside of ear-range. Consider your needs and setup. If noise is not an issue, this is great. If noise is an issue, consider a less powerful pump. EDIT: I needed an extra pump and so I gave this one a shot despite the noise - IT'S ONLY CRAZY LOUD WHEN THE STONES ARENT HOOKED UP!!! I feel pretty dumb. This thing is super-quiet and insanely powerful. I only figured this out near the end of my grow, and I regret not exploring this thing further. I had a HydroFarm 4 outlet and another smaller 2 outlet connected before I set this one up, which conveniently has six ports. I now have 2 spare air pumps after replacing them with this model. I want to reiterate: this pump makes less noise than both my other pumps running and provides approximately four times the power Very impressed. SECOND EDIT: Bought a second pump which was insanely loud, even after hooking up the air stones. I struggled with the noise for a long time before I took off the black cap and saw that the rubber gasket sealing the case was folded over itself, allowing air leaks and intense vibrations. I attempted to re-fit the rubber gasket, but realized it was slightly too large for the frame it was meant to wrap around. It may have stretched, or it may have just been a defective ring. I pulled the ring out and replaced it as best i could, which greatly reduced vibration and noise. It is now only slightly louder than my original pump, which is acceptable to me, and I am pleased not to have had to return it at this point, because these pumps really do work very well, especially with the 6 outlets per pump. Still pleased with the product, despite the initial headache.
