Camera quality is great and it is a great monitor for the most part. only issue I had with it was that the parent unit had to be connected to a charger all the time after a year use & the two way talking stoping working as well & sometimes it’ll go offline during nap time and it was usually a pain to get it to come back online.

I purchased this baby monitor expecting it to be reliable, but it has been nothing but a headache. First and foremost, this product is not compatible with the newest iPhone or iOS update, which is not mentioned anywhere on the product page. After countless emails to customer support, all they suggested was resetting the device, which I did repeatedly with no success. Finally, when I spoke with their support team, I was bluntly told that there’s no fix for the iOS compatibility issue. Despite acknowledging this, they refused to offer any solution or refund, citing that I purchased it from Amazon and it’s been over 45 days. Aside from this major flaw, the overall performance is poor: – Constant connectivity issues: The monitor frequently disconnects, leaving you worried about whether it's functioning. – Significant delay in video and audio: The delay between real-time events and what you see/hear on the monitor is unacceptable, making it hard to trust it as a reliable baby monitor. – Night vision is terrible: The image quality is extremely blurry at night, which defeats the purpose of having a monitor to check on your baby in the dark. Overall, I would not recommend this monitor to anyone, especially if you have an iPhone or plan to upgrade to the latest iOS. For the price, I expected much more, and the lack of communication about such a major compatibility issue is frustrating. Save yourself the hassle and choose a more reliable product.

I don't even know where to begin when it comes to bragging this up. It has dual wifi or antenna capabilities. The antenna can reach all the way to my neighbors house more than 100 ft away. The ability to play music has helped my little one. Something worth mentioning is that my daughter's sound machine is directly next to the camera/mic and it picks up the sound machine and tunes the audio of the machine down so that I can actually hear any peep from my daughter. Basically like a background noise cancelling thing. The ability to move the camera around and zoom in and out remotely is awesome. I can rotate it to either be on the crib or view the entire 10x10 room in one shot. Been using it for over a year and the battery portable charge lasts almost all day if left unplugged and on. Bonus if you don't want to actually install it on the wall.. I was able to use a spring clamp on the camera and clamp it to a piece of furniture because the camera has a mounting area that has enough space for that.

I wanted to wait a few months to use this before writing a review. So far this baby monitor has worked well. There has been a few frustrations but for the most part it works as intended. The good: -Large screen -Clear picture -Good sound -Camera is able to move around and zoom in/out -I like that it has a dimming mode. After so much time the screen will dim so it’s not so bright in your face all night. The bad: -We have had several instances where the monitor just doesn’t work. It says it’s not connected to the camera. Sometimes we have to unplug the camera just to get the monitor to work again. It was happening quite often in the beginning. So much so that my husband wanted to return it. Practically every time we tried turning it on it wouldn’t work at first. We always had to wait 5-10 minutes, turn the monitor off and on a few times or just unplug the camera in order for the screen to come up. But recently we haven’t had any more issues. I began to realize if I tried turning the monitor on while it was plugged up it seemed to cause issues. If I take it off the wall plug in and then turn it on it doesn’t have any issues. Not sure why that is. But just be aware. Other reviews mention this problem as well. -The battery sucks. There’s no kind way to put it. The monitor will barely last 2 hours. Even if you have it turned off. Once you take it off the wall plug-in don’t expect it to last long. Even if it’s turned off all the way the battery still drains. This is something vtech really needs to look at improving.

Went on vacation, forgot the baby Monitor, -- was looking into one for home that had better range, -- had this drop shipped to a whole foods where we were. The old one was uninstalled as soon as we got back home. The ability to use the Device OR our phones, even if we're out and can check in with the babysitter. Is really great. I've recommended all my friends put this one on their baby registry.

The battery life on this thing is impressive. If you set it to go dark when baby isn’t moving, the battery will last all night without needing charged. The only thing I’m upset about is that the second one I ordered said “open box - like new” but it was not like new. It looks slightly used and one of the chargers was not the correct charger at all. It was definitely misleading which was disappointing. Amazon is usually great about reflecting the condition of lower priced items that were returned, but they dropped the ball this time. The new one I purchased is great though. The video quality is incredible, it’s like being in the room with them. We have a large house and I never lose signal going from one end to the other, so the range is great too. The size of the camera is nice too, it can pan around the whole room without missing any spots and the monitor is big as well.

The only issue i see is battery issue in the monitor it gets low within an hour

Me parece un excelente producto. Es nítida la imagen y el sonido es claro. Lo mejor es que desde donde esté (mi oficina) puedo ver a través del celular a mi bebé mientras está en casa. La única debilidad es la batería, pero nada extraordinario, se puede mantener conectado, y cuando realmente sea necesario desconectarlo. Gran producto.

Ainda está em avaliação, pois não comecei a usar ainda, pois minha bebê ainda não nasceu, mas de primeira impressão gostei muito! Tem várias funcionalidades interessantes como músicas, avisa em caso de mudanças de temperaturas, possibilidade de falar, maior ou menor sensibilidade a barulhos e movimentos. Me parece muito boa e funcional. Precisa estar conectada a tomada tanto a câmera quanto o monitor e a vantagem é ser bivolt. Apesar de o conector de tomada ser da Inglaterra facilmente consegui ligar com um adaptador universal. Espero continuar gostando.

Works as expected with one missing feature.. the camera unit always has to be plugged in with charger .. and doesn’t have a battery backup so cannot be placed anywhere.

We bought this a year ago for £69. It’s now more than double!! I would not recommend this product even for £69, the picture quality/quality of the screen has completely deteriorated, the sound is okay but the connection to either the monitor or the app is very hit and miss, and only deteriorates over time as the aerial slowly breaks
